Before the venerable ones, and, the translator Marpa Yidzhung Lo, translated by the one called Dharma Wangchuk. This is the colophon of the Marpa Dolpa translation. In the Glogkya translation, after mentioning the colophons of Drog and Ngok, Gartön Gewa also made corrections. Glogkya Sherab Tseg thoroughly revised it and then it was finalized. Later, it is said that it was proofread based on the exemplar of Jowo Sumati Kirti, which is only found in the Ma-gyo revision. Marpa, Do, Glogkya, Ma-gyo, these three individual translations, as well as the combined translations of Marpa-Do and Lochung, have only slight differences in translation. These and the Drog-Ngok translations have great differences, and the Ra translation is almost the same as the Ngok translation. Here it is said: The profound and vast doctrine of the Spring Drop is a wish-fulfilling jewel for the followers of the accomplished ones. However, if it is not clearly separated by others, it is wonderful to explain it without error as it is. Whatever small amount of virtue is obtained from this, may all sentient beings obtain the auspicious abode of Heruka, and may all dharmas abide in co-emergent bliss. This, called "The Heart Essence of the Definitive Secret Ocean, a Commentary on the Noble Spring Drop," was also blessed by the Accomplished Lord with the name Practicing Vajra, and written by Gyal Kham Pa Tāranātha in the secluded place of Nakgyal.
