For us, just as pure red, red-black, red-white, and red-yellow appear, other colors can also be inferred similarly. These colors are the colors of the powerful ones. Generally, all colors are between five, six, five times five (twenty-five), or six times six (thirty-six). Among these, the wind circulating in the channels is very coarse. It is like a craftsman who actually causes the increase or decrease of humors and produces good or bad effects. Those winds that only move inside the channels and interact with each other become the fundamental actors and motivators of these increases, decreases, good, and bad. Those that stay in the channel locations and humors and do not move to other locations are the basis for the occurrence of these increases, decreases, good, and bad, but do not engage in actual activity. All of these are mundane karma winds. The so-called "clarifying wind" refers to the mind moving on objects, and the consciousness and thought arising between two moments, and the intensely moving consciousness itself, which is called wind. This consciousness, which has the power to move on objects and concepts, has a clear and non-conceptual appearance from its own moment. Therefore, it is sometimes explained as the ultimate wind, but this is only a temporary ultimate truth, not the real ultimate truth, so it is the conventional consciousness wind. The ultimate wisdom wind is the nature of wind, that is, the all-pervading, non-elaborate nature of wisdom itself, which is a supreme otherness similar to the form of wind. The karma wind is pervaded by the consciousness wind in the manner of conventional establishment, and the consciousness wind is pervaded by the nature-wisdom wind. In the opposite aspect of the meaning similar to the nature wind, the consciousness wind arises in the manner of sudden defilements, and the karma winds arise from this cause. The way in which yogis and meditators merge the winds into the wisdom wind is that on the worldly path, in equanimity, the karma wind ceases, the consciousness wind appears like an illusion, and the nature wind is like looking at an object covered with gauze, only slightly experienced, not fully manifested.

In subsequent cognition, the wind of dharmata is not visible, but the karmic wind appears clearly like an illusion, and the wind of consciousness appears only slightly. On the path beyond the world, in meditative equipoise, only the wind of wisdom is directly perceived, and in subsequent attainment, the wind of consciousness is clearly perceived. Below the seventh ground, the karmic wind also appears like an illusion. In the state of Buddhahood, only the wind of wisdom is present, and nothing else appears. 8-431 Thus, it is sufficient to elaborate extensively. The third is as follows: The third door is connected with the mind. By distinguishing between the moon and the sun, the nature of entering and emerging, the door is indeed excellent, becoming the chief and supreme door, renowned above and below. The lower door is consciousness, the upper door is the element. The third door is the mind, the heart is also a door, and that is also twofold: the moon's door, entering below, and the sun's door, emerging above, are renowned as doors. This door, in relation to the previous ones, is the supreme, excellent, and chief door. Regarding this, at this time, there are three different recognitions of the heart's door, but the key point is the same. From the perspective of the central channel's door for the arising of wisdom, the part above the heart's knot of channels, the place where the life-force wind arises, the moon is the upper door, connected with the life-force wind and the syllable ཧཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हं, Romanized Sanskrit: haṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum), and the bindu of the heart is also a part of skillful means. The part below the navel's knot of channels, the place where the downward-clearing wind arises, the sun is the lower door, connected with the downward-clearing wind and the syllable ཀྵ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: क्ष, Romanized Sanskrit: kṣa, Literal Chinese meaning: Ksha) below the navel, and the syllable ཨཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: अं, Romanized Sanskrit: aṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Am) of the navel is also the nature of wisdom. When those two doors are not used as the path, they generate all mental thoughts, and when they are used as the path, from the liberation of those two, true wisdom arises, therefore it is called the door of the heart. Some consider it to be the upper and lower ends of the central channel, but since the key point is the same, there is no contradiction. From the perspective of the functional right and left channels, the left is the door of the single channel, located at the navel, the white element descends and faces downward, therefore it is the lower moon door, and the right is the door of the rasana channel, located at the throat, facing upward and the red element descends, therefore, it is called the upper sun door. The wind that enters is the single channel.
