Regarding Chöd, the practice of uniting the four principal channels into one, and dividing the four channels within the heart chakra into five locations, thereby forming thirty-seven channels, is the intent of Chakrasamvara. Among these, the eight orifices, the eight channels both inside and outside the heart chakra, and the four principal channels are known as the pervasive channels. These twenty-four channels have a way of being purified even before purification begins. When the twenty-four channels are purified, the way of purification also enters simultaneously. After the twenty-four channels are completely purified, there is still a way for the purification of these channels to reach its ultimate completion. Therefore, in the way of purifying the channels of throat-severance and near throat-severance, various uncertain situations may arise, but this is not contradictory. This is also because the four chakras show the fulfillment of bodhicitta and so forth, so it is a section related to the four chakras. Secondly, regarding the ultimate result, there are three mandalas: the body mandala, the speech mandala, and the mind mandala. Among these, the channel of genuine wisdom is the body mandala, the wind and bindu of wisdom are the speech mandala, and the ultimate great bliss is the mind mandala. From these mandalas themselves, networks of body channels like gold and lapis lazuli, speech syllables and bindus, and the bliss that accompanies the changes of mind arise. However, when focusing on these mandalas themselves, if the wisdom of the path arises, then gradually purifying these defilements is like the fire that arises from wood burning the wood itself. Through purification, the three primordial mandalas, adorned with all qualities, manifest like opening an underground treasure. Relative to the state of that individual, this is called the ultimate result possessing two purities. Among these, the body mandala is the left channel, Kyangma; the speech mandala is the right channel, Roma; and the mind mandala is the central channel, Uma, which is related to Dharma and Dharmata. Therefore, from the complete purification of the three channels, these mandalas also manifest. The three kayas are Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya, and Nirmanakaya. Among these, the Dharmakaya is the sole wisdom that is free from all elaborations, which has become the Dharmata or life force of all dharmas. Therefore, one's own

It is through the way of self-awareness wisdom that one realizes, and also indirectly knows all the relative truths, that is the Dharmakaya. The Sambhogakaya is the single wisdom of self-appearance, without dualistic appearances, appearing as limitless bodies, realms, offerings, and so on, and the sound of the Dharma pervading everywhere, that is the Sambhogakaya. The Nirmanakaya is the shadow or image of the Sambhogakaya, manifesting infinite appearances of body and speech to any sentient being to be tamed, and possessing immeasurable benefit and happiness, that is called the Nirmanakaya. The cause of that Nirmanakaya, the one who shows the Nirmanakaya, is the unconditioned compassion pervading the sky, that is the Nirmanakaya. These three bodies, although they are the original nature of Dharma, are related to the three aspects of body, speech, and mind of samsara, and their root, the three white, red, and wind energies, or the conceptual thoughts that are the collection of mind and mental factors, and the appearances of the three places of body, speech, and mind, and the three actions of doing, acting, and working, along with enjoyment. In short, from the obscurations of those sudden stains, by taking the inseparable three vajras as the path and meditating, when the stains are removed, it is said that the ultimate result is the two-purity body, which is established in relation to that state. So, what is the path of the inseparable three vajras like? There is a lot to say here, but it can be explained as the three wisdoms of emptiness, bliss, and clarity, and that itself is also considered the three bodies of the path. However, just being the samadhi of the three emptiness, bliss, and clarity does not make it the three bodies of the path, and just being those themselves having the form of the four truths, or just having the form of non-elaboration, or just appearing as the form of compassion, does not make it the three bodies of the path. So, what is it? Based on the appearance of non-elaboration as the radiance of compassion, the wisdom of emptiness, which arises from the burning of the tummo fire, and whose essence is the characteristic of self-awareness bliss, is the Dharmakaya, the melting bliss that descends into the central channel, and whose essence is the characteristic of immutability, and the clarity that arises from the cessation of the wind energy, and whose essence is the characteristic of the image of one's own mind appearing in all forms, these are successively the Dharma, Sambhoga, and Nirmana bodies of the path.
