To Adding upwards is: the great or supreme of great awareness. When used on the path, it is the realization that various appearances are equal in nature, and the appearance of contradictions and aggregates without fault, and the simultaneous realization of the three times, and the arising of qualities such as knowing many different things simultaneously. The four moments are various aspects, and maturation, and ripening, and devoid of characteristics. The four joys are joy, and supreme joy, and special joy, and innate joy. These two sets of four should be understood as follows: the four joys that are general and naturally abiding, and the four joys of the moment, and the four joys of the path. The first, as stated in the general introduction above, is that all four vajras or those four natures are naturally great bliss, abiding from the beginning, that is, the four of body, speech, mind, and innate, the four joys, etc., are sequentially combined. These are also combined with the four of forehead, throat, heart, and navel, and at the time of the four, by the power of that nature being four, the four chakras of the channels are formed in the body of samsara. When the key points of the four wheels are struck on the path, the four joys of the path arise. Because the impurities of those four wheels are purified, the four bodies of the result manifest. Secondly, even sentient beings in samsara who have not entered the path, when the two of attachment and discrimination are combined and related, the four moments and four joys arise, but this lacks the characteristic of stability of rising and stability of falling, so it is only rising and descending. At the time of empowerment and the path, when used on the path of skillful means, there are two parts of rising and falling and descending stability. In rising stability, the four joys, etc., appear in the order of crown, throat, heart, and navel, and in descending stability, they arise in the order of navel, heart, throat, and crown, but they arise and cease in each moment, and do not always abide in that bliss. In the third, there are also the two joys of rising and falling and descending stability, and the way they are combined with the four wheels is as described above, but in general, this is not fully generated in one effort sequence, and the various grounds of joy

Whatever arises and becomes familiar in the continuum will not degenerate and will always remain in that continuum. In particular, if one first practices the path of the sutras up to the level of forbearance in the path of preparation, and then enters this path of tantra, then one will definitely rely on the union of the four joys of ascent to realize it. Up to the point of abiding in great forbearance, it is also possible to realize the eight joys in one session. Furthermore, whether one is initially a practitioner of the tantric path or enters tantra from the sutra path, as soon as one attains the stage of joy, if one does not immediately take steps to stabilize it through diligence or non-distraction, then realization may also degenerate. Thus, although the four wheels, moments, and the way of uniting joy are roughly accomplished, does this treatise explain both the ascending and descending joys, or does it explain only one of them? The previous lamas considered that only the descending joy was explained. It would be better if both were explained. Among them, the arising of various subtle and different changes in the experience of bliss is the various moments. Although the effort is small, the experience of bliss is of the same kind, and the changes are much greater than before, this is the maturing moment. A wisdom that is similar to that form appears again and again, and is more intense than before, this is extreme increase. The great bliss that cannot be described by metaphor or symbol, one can know for oneself, and because there are few conceptual thoughts, the characteristic of attachment is abandoned; bliss increases, so the characteristic of attachment and non-attachment is abandoned, this is the moment without characteristics. Whether it is melting bliss or natural bliss, abiding in a small samadhi of bliss is the first joy. As bliss increases, the appearance of grasper and grasped disappears in various ways, this is supreme joy. As bliss greatly increases, the appearance of grasper and grasped completely disappears and separates, this is separation joy, or the two different changes of the first joy, and at this time, a more excellent change difference arises, so it is special joy. When bliss reaches the ultimate perfection, all appearances of grasper and grasped disappear, and the manifestation of the original nature of reality can be symbolized, this is coemergent joy. This characteristic
