Returning, O Yama, slayer of death! Burning like the fire of the final age when things are unbearable. With face contorted in wrath, eyebrows flashing like lightning. Eyes wide open, fangs gnashing, blazing fiercely. The fierce vajra horse-cry resounds with a 'ha ha'. Uttering the fierce 'phem' sound that gathers the dakinis. With wrathful stride, stamping feet, subduing the three realms. Threatening finger raised to the sky, taming the great gods. Tongue curled, burning mouth licking blood. Devouring the world with its gods. Adorned with a garland of fresh flayed skulls of great obstructors. Naked, terrifying, in the form of the great powerful one. Face of a terrifying buffalo, wrathful and transformed. Nine faces blazing, consuming the three realms. Mudras blazing, subduing various beings. Destroying all demon races, with two legs in a posture of stretching and contracting. Always I bow to the body of the great terrifying one. Hūṃ. (Tibetan, Devanagari हूं, IAST hūṃ, Literal meaning: Seed syllable) From the mandala of nine blazing heads. The three faces on the right are wide open. Faces of blue-black, red, and yellow. The three faces on the left are gnashing their teeth. Faces of white, smoke, and black. The three faces in the center are blazing. In the forms of wrath, desire, and peace. From the blazing light of the mudras. The sixteen mudras on the right. Holding weapons that strike and destroy. The sixteen mudras on the left. Beautiful with the signs of playing and bestowing. From the majestic and overwhelming posture of the feet. The eight feet on the right are contracted. Subduing the eight arrogant gods by skillful means. The eight feet on the left are extended. Enjoying the eight arrogant goddesses. For the sake of subduing with great desire. Always in the form of an erect lingam. Subduing hatred with a fierce form. I bow to the body that subdues. From the mandala of the great charnel ground. Subduing demons and Yama by skillful means. Gathering the mamos and dakinis under control. I bow to the body of the great powerful one. In the mandala of the great powerful one. Gathered by involuntary faith. Surrounded by a retinue of wisdom emanations. I bow to you with your retinue. From the mandala of the wisdom mind. However you may emanate. Never moving from the pure realm of reality. I bow to the body of equality. Thus praised. This praise is known in India. Known to Rongzom, Ra, Kyo, and Nyopa in the past.

It must have the signs of blessing. This amount of elaboration and abbreviation seems appropriate. Then, the praise of the retinue is enough with just a brief one, such as how to subdue, etc. All the mandalas of the ten directions, possessed by great miraculous power, pacifying the suffering of beings, I prostrate and praise the protectors of the place. Gods and non-gods, etc., residing in the six realms, cutting off all the malicious ones, I prostrate to the destroying body. May life, merit, wealth, and supreme happiness protect sentient beings. Without birth, fear, prosperity, or decline, I praise the emanations of wisdom. To the practitioner who possesses vows, granting unobstructed accomplishments, eliminating all obstacles, and accomplishing all activities, I praise. By the virtue of such praise, may the secret mantra deities be pleased, and having attained the state of Vajradhara, may all beings be ripened and liberated. So it is said. Then, generating and inviting Yama, the King of Dharma: Purify into emptiness with From within emptiness, in front of the Blessed One's body, in the center of the ocean of रक्त (Tibetan, रक्त, rakta, blood), in the palace of burning skull cups, with a roof of skeletal bones. In the center of that, within the whirlwind of fire, on a lotus and sun disc, a black buffalo, arrogant and wrathful, trampling upon the great corpse of enemies and obstacles. From ཡ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: य, Romanized Sanskrit: ya, Literal Chinese meaning: ยะ) is born, fully transformed with a club as a sign, from which is born Yama, the King of Dharma, body color dark blue-black, one face, two arms, with the face of a buffalo. The right hand raises a black skull club marked with a vajra, the left hand makes a threatening gesture with a black lasso. Hair bristles upwards, fangs bared. Naked, with erect lingam. With an extremely terrifying demeanor, abandoning all ornaments. With the posture of the right leg bent and the left leg extended, in the midst of the whirlwind of fire, seated on a buffalo seat. To the left, from ཙཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: चामुण्डी, Romanized Sanskrit: cāmuṇḍī, Literal Chinese meaning: चा मुण्डी) is born, the black mother ཙ་མུཎྜི་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: चामुण्डी, Romanized Sanskrit: cāmuṇḍī, Literal Chinese meaning: चा मुण्डी), with red-yellow hair flowing loosely and pendulous breasts. Wearing a bull's hide and black clothes, holding a trident and skull cup, greatly wrathful. Surrounding, ཡ་བ་ཏི་ (Tibetan) holding a spear, ཕྱ་སངས་ (Tibetan) holding a wheel, རྨིག་པ་གསལ་ (Tibetan) holding a wooden stick, རལ་པ་ཚར་དགུ་ (Tibetan) holding a short spear, Yama's messengers holding iron hooks.
