Great beings, you have gained unparalleled attainment today. Because the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, all the great beings, are fully protecting you, causing you to continuously grow in this teaching. Therefore, you will flourish greatly in the Mahayana tomorrow. This supreme path of the flourishing Mahayana is glorious. If you walk on this path, you will become Tathagatas. Thus, it was said and its meaning explained. To examine dreams and protect against bad ones: Child, tomorrow you will see the supreme mandala. Sleep, and whatever dreams you see, please tell me everything accurately. Thus, he advised and briefly explained the differences between good and bad dreams. Then, he sent the students back to their respective places. Before this, the request for teachings and other preparations should be done first, and then the vase and student preparations should be done. Offering praises to the sky and other things can also be done at this time, whichever is convenient. The Ritual of the Mandala Retreat Third, the ritual of the mandala retreat: In the morning, get up early and place five colored threads on the five colored paints. 6-158 Arrange complete tormas and offerings. The five colored threads can be arranged in rows, or they can be arranged in the center and four directions. Cleanse and purify. From emptiness, in the place of the blue thread, from ཡ (Tibetan, Devanagari: य, Romanized Sanskrit: ya, Literal Chinese meaning: ya) arises Wrathful Yama, the Lord of Death, with a blue body. In the place of the white thread, from ཀྵེ (Tibetan, Devanagari: क्ष, Romanized Sanskrit: kṣe, Literal Chinese meaning: kshe) arises Ignorant Yama, the Lord of Death, with a white body. In the place of the yellow thread, from མ (Tibetan, Devanagari: म, Romanized Sanskrit: ma, Literal Chinese meaning: ma) arises Miserly Yama, the Lord of Death, with a yellow body. In the place of the red thread, from མེ (Tibetan, Devanagari: मे, Romanized Sanskrit: me, Literal Chinese meaning: mai) arises Desireful Yama, the Lord of Death, with a red body.
