Generally, it is related to all stages, but mainly to the solitary place of the wind yoga. Or, taking pleasure as the path based on the lower gate of the karmamudra or the mahasukha karmamudra yoga, which is associated with attachment, is also related to all five stages in general, but mainly it is made into a path through the door of focusing on the mind. The second is: Dream and illusion are practiced as one. The three bardos are mixed together. Afflictions are transformed into the path of wisdom. The quick path of cutting through is transference (phowa). Entering the city is a limb. It is said. The root of the instruction of mixing is: Dream and illusion are one {to unite [to practice]}. If you can mix dream and illusory body, you can also mix bardo with illusory body. It is also easy to mix deep sleep with clear light, and if it can be put into clear light, then at the time of death, clear light will be effortlessly grasped. So, the accomplishment of the illusory body in the dream depends on the accomplishment of the illusory body in the waking state. Isn't the root the illusory body of the waking state? From one point of view, it is true, but for guiding experience, in most cases, the accomplishment of the dream is better than the accomplishment of the illusion in the waking state. Relying on the virtue in the dream, it is more common to generate the virtue of the day that has not been born, and to increase the virtue that has been born. Furthermore, there is the existence bardo, that is, the actual bardo, the dream bardo, and the three states of the birth and death bardo, which are mixed with the illusory body deity. By saying so, the three mixtures of clear light are also implied. Moreover, the five stages are combined to purify the five poisons, or by the power of desire, combine with wisdom, combine hatred with the illusory body, combine ignorance with clear light. In this way, afflictions are transformed into the wisdom of the path. That is, if you think that the part of the mind that is extremely unpeaceful and unruly due to afflictions will not be transformed into the path, if you realize the self-nature free from elaboration, it will be transformed into the path, but that is not an affliction, so how will afflictions be transformed into the path? In general, even the part that makes it unruly, if it is grasped by other special means, it is not that it cannot be transformed into the path, but the self of affliction

This so-called "knowing as it is" does not necessarily have to establish self-nature solely on the ultimate truth of emptiness. Here, self-nature refers to the self-form, which refers to the essence of the consciousness of afflictions, merely clear awareness. Although there is no difference in the nature of mere clear awareness, there are differences in the ease of application as a path due to the differences in the accompanying factors that manifest as desire, hatred, ignorance, etc. It is superior to use desire with bliss, hatred with clarity, and ignorance with emptiness as the path. Conversely, if it is difficult to find the edge of experience, then the distinction should be known. It is said that the saying "using afflictions as the path" is widely circulated, but the appearance of wanting to speak but being unable to, is like a mute's dream. For the yogi who uses it as the path, there is the term "mixing." There are two categories of mixing: mixing the base and the path, and mixing the path and the result. The first is: mixing sleep with clear light, mixing dreams with the illusory body, mixing death with clear light, mixing the intermediate state with union, mixing desire with co-emergence, mixing enjoyment with bliss and emptiness. The former great masters assert these six mixings. The second nine mixings are: mixing clear light with the Dharmakaya, mixing the illusory body with the complete enjoyment body of the two-fold samadhi, mixing subsequent attainment with the Nirmanakaya, mixing deep sleep with clear light, mixing dreams with the Sambhogakaya, mixing waking with the Nirmanakaya, mixing death with the Dharmakaya, mixing the intermediate state with the Sambhogakaya, mixing birth with the Nirmanakaya. These are the ones. There are also three mixings: mixing bliss with the Dharmakaya, mixing clear appearance with the Sambhogakaya, and mixing karmic appearance with the Nirmanakaya. The first of these is: tummo, karma mudra, and the three clear lights. The second is: the samadhi and subsequent attainment of the three: waking, dreaming, and the intermediate state. The third is after that. Regarding transference of consciousness, there are two: upward transference and entering the city. These are mainly famous in the Mother Tantra. That is also in the waking and sleeping states. For one who can effortlessly meditate on the exemplary clear light, there is no need for upward transference, but if one cannot do so, it is necessary. That is connected by aspiration prayers, without having to go through many rebirths, quickly cutting off all paths, that is, only the final rebirth.
