All phenomena that appear are like illusions, And the arising of such realization is like illusion, the instruction on the stages of the illusory body. In this small treatise, in the sections on "sign" and "that which has a sign," the nature of the wisdom body has already been explained, so here, It clearly shows the practice method of the initial practitioner, the practice of the illusory body. From the instructions of Jetsun Marpa Lotsawa, in the instructions on the Five Stages and Six Dharmas, the instructions on dreams and bardo are made as branches of the illusory body, and in some instructions of the Mother Tantra, the instructions on dreams are also made as the root of the illusory body, And the words of this treatise are also like that. The sixth is: From the samadhi of knowing one's own nature, the samadhi that does not arise from means, Self-luminous, the essence is non-conceptual, the clear light is ultimate wisdom. Here it says, "From the samadhi of knowing one's own nature," this shows the practice of clear light, which is the stage of clear light ultimate truth. "Clear light ultimate truth," etc., shows the clear light of meaning, the path of seeing, the direct realization of enlightenment. The two intermediate sentences, "Not relying on means," etc., show the target of the clear light stage, the ultimate truth to be realized, the actual dharmadhatu itself. Here, the clear light of the path as the one who realizes is also called the ultimate truth, because for the way of realizing the ultimate truth, it can be done without deception. Therefore, the object to be truly realized by this path is the means, that is, the samadhi that does not arise from cause and is unborn, that is, the great bliss of one's own nature, and that which is self-luminous from the beginning, all-pervading, and the emptiness of non-conceptuality, which is the essence of oneself, completely beyond all elaboration, from the perspective of negation, it is unborn, and from the perspective of establishment, it is bliss-clarity-non-conceptuality, these three, here it shows the possession of four characteristics. If other samadhis must be accomplished by means, but this dharmadhatu is the ultimate of the one-pointed mind, it is the most excellent of samadhis, although it is samadhi, it does not arise by means, but is self-born. The meaning of samadhi is: From the sound of Samadhi Completely and from all aspects holding, constantly holding, that is, unchanging, also leading to unchanging, so it must also be understood as the meaning of unchanging bliss. Emptiness.

Its nature is solely non-conceptual, and that is self-awareness, not a mere negation-based emptiness. When this sequence reaches its ultimate point, the reality is directly realized. And its proof is established by the two meditations that can clearly observe and know the nature of reality. Moreover, as stated in the "Compendium of Practices Lamp": "Just as the water of a river or well, pure and undefiled, remains in a clump. Likewise, the yogi should constantly contemplate the subsequent dissolution of that. One should also look as if the winds gradually cease in a mirror. Likewise, one should accurately examine the sequence of actions in holding the whole." Also, from the "Five Stages": "The disciple who has obtained the oral instructions, thereafter should learn the two yogas, the sequence of holding the whole, and likewise the subsequent dissolution." And so on, it is clearly stated. For the beginner, when using form as the path, when meditating with the visualization of the generation stage, due to the causes of radiating and gathering light, etc., merely gathering one's own body into emptiness is the holding of the whole; and gradually gathering all containers and contents from the outside to the center is as it is known as subsequent dissolution. For the yogi who has attained the stage of luminosity, there is no need to meditate in that way. Because this is meditating on its symbolic meaning, the main focus is on one's own body, and also on whatever appears directly, expanding it with bliss and emptiness, so that the appearance immediately disappears at once and dissolves into emptiness, that is the holding of the whole. If one meditates by expanding all expanded appearances with bliss and emptiness, because this object of focus is vast, it will not immediately dissolve into emptiness at once, but will gradually dissolve, that is the subsequent dissolution. There are two ways of dissolving in sequence: one is that on top of all objects of appearance, simultaneously, the experience of emptiness becomes stronger and dissolves into emptiness; the other is that one object dissolves first, and then the others dissolve in sequence. The nature of the path of the luminosity stage is the path of directly realizing emptiness with the great bliss born simultaneously. The cause is entering through the sequence of the four appearances, and the object is: "Through the sequence of self-blessing, luminosity will be attained." That is, mainly focusing on the wisdom body and meditating.
