Accomplishments arise without obstruction. This is when, at the time of visualization, one transforms into that deity's form, but it is not always abiding in that state. The yogi is not actually performing the actions of the body, nor is he the master of the body. Therefore, it is different from the stages of self-blessing. When transformed by visualization, the winds such as the life-force enter into the central channel and so forth, and also become real. Therefore, it is far superior to the generation stage with bodily isolation that merely arises in the mind. This is the same in meaning as the accomplishment of the life-form body spoken of in other ultimate tantras. However, within the Guhyasamaja Arya tradition in the snowy mountains, no one has heard of this, whether early or late. They merely utter the words "like an illusion samadhi" and so forth vaguely. Applying each mandala to its activity is: the wind of fire, the wind of wind, the wind of the great powerful earth, the wind of water, that is to say, in the mandalas of each of the great or small elements, the four great activities are accomplished separately. A 'thun' is half and half, that is, in each period of nine hundred breaths per set, depending on the great and small elements, two different activities can be accomplished. That is to say, wind subdues, fire empowers, water pacifies, and earth enriches. If, in the period of one thousand sets of nine hundred breaths of the Lotus Lord, relying on the method side of the great elements, the activity of empowerment can always be accomplished during that time. Relying on the wisdom side of the small elements, at two hundred and twenty-five fire breaths, although it is also the activity of empowerment, one can perform activities such as summoning. At two hundred and twenty-five wind breaths, one can realize manifestation, at two hundred and twenty-five earth breaths, one can realize enrichment, and at two hundred and twenty-five water breaths, one can realize pacification. Therefore, the way in which two activities are accomplished is like that. Some say that the four elements externally are each a collection of activities, and internally are each a moment of wisdom entering the central channel, that is, performing two activities each. There are also those who explain the identification of half a 'thun' by placing it under the authority of eight 'thuns,' but these are unrelated and unreasonable. Therefore, in this case, there are six daytime 'thuns' and six nighttime 'thuns,' totaling twelve 'thuns,' and each 'thun' has eight hundred breaths. If it is halved, then...

The nine hundred and first, which is the mandala of the Protector. Also, when that mandala descends, the wind is brought into the central channel in meditative equipoise, and increased with bliss and warmth. When the wind appears as an illusory deity, by focusing intention and merely reciting the vajra, those activities will be accomplished. Accomplishments also include the raising of corpses by wind, the commanding by fire, the ingestion of essence and immortality by water, and treasures and yaksha women by earth. The four activities are accomplished by each of those mandalas once each, and the accomplishments will also be accomplished in a day or seven days, etc. For activities, that is how they are actually applied. The power of accumulating merit from the tantras is: by diligently offering to the wisdom deity, oneself will become a place of offering for the beings of the three realms. By diligently reciting, the faults of body, speech, and mind will be purified. By diligently offering fire sacrifices, one will be endowed with many qualities and wealth, and wealth will have miraculous powers. By diligently meditating on the deity's form, emptiness, and great bliss, one will attain supreme liberation. Although explanations that combine with inner hidden meanings have appeared in this verse, since it does not change the literal meaning, it should be known that this is merely a general explanation of the benefits of offering, recitation, and meditation, as the reason why those activities can be accomplished through the meditation and recitation of the completion stage. The second is the explanation of the conduct of abiding in the stage of speech seclusion: Having known that way, the mantra practitioner should act like a child when walking. Then the secret mantras of the non-conceptual dharmas will be accomplished. That is to say, the mantra practitioner who meditates on speech seclusion, having known the very nature of wind, mantra, and recitation through experience, should abandon all discriminations of happiness and suffering, enemies and friends, etc., like a shameless child among beings. By practicing with equanimity, speech seclusion is perfected, and the gross discriminations of the eight worldly concerns are abandoned, and one becomes impartial. The conduct of relying on a teacher is also hinted at. By relying on such training,
