The sixth is the navel chakra, plus the three chakras below the throat, namely the fire and wind two chakras, the sixth chakra is medium. The three ro-tsang central channels are subtle, and the centers of the central channel are extremely subtle. The wind also flows through the nostrils, movement, etc., are coarse. The nature of not moving and rotating within the body, 5-267 The winds of the five elements and the ten transforming winds, and those that generate various thoughts are medium. The wind that becomes the mount of the four appearances is subtle, and especially the mount of clear light is extremely subtle. Flesh, blood, bones, internal organs, etc. The sixteen elements or twenty-four elements, etc., are coarse, and the causes of those, the white and red both are medium, and the white and red located within the central channel are subtle, located above those, even if it is the syllable "ka", it is intangible, existing in the form of luster, radiance, and light is extremely subtle. Various thoughts of good, evil, and neutral related to actions and deeds, this is the coarse mind. The consciousness in which various objects appear is medium, the appearance of various inner bliss-clarity experiences is subtle, and the nature of awareness-emptiness that never changes is extremely subtle. Except for the last one, the others are all within the realm of conventional truth. The clear light of ultimate truth is, contained within the last one, is all aspects, free from elaboration, unchanging, and the great bliss of self-awareness. Having understood in this way from the general aspect of coarse and subtle, now slightly I will explain the classification of winds. As it is said in the Vajra Garland: If a yogi meditates on the wind, he will quickly attain accomplishment. This is the benefit of skillfully grasping the key points of the wind. And as it is said in the Compendium of Origins: Not knowing the practice of wind, or even knowing but not practicing, that person will be nourished by all sufferings and become a worm of samsara. This is the fault of not knowing the yoga of wind, and of knowing but not practicing. Like this, here are the classifications of wind, the categories of names, the meanings of each division, 5-268 how it flows,

The five ways related to the essential points of practice. The first is the necessary classification of winds: five root winds and five branch winds, totaling ten. Furthermore, it is said in the Vajramala that "in order to identify the horses of the one hundred and eight conceptual thoughts, it is also said that there are one hundred and eight winds." Although included among the ten winds, generally the nature of the five root wind elements, and the actual winds that are the mounts of the four appearances, are not included among the ten winds. To say that they are life winds is merely a statement in the context of giving the name of life to all winds. Therefore, the winds of the five nature elements are like a collection of eight elements piled up, such as gold, silver, copper, iron, etc. The wind of clear light is like the one who makes the arrangement of manufacture. The winds of the three appearances are like the craftsman. Becoming the ten winds is like those craftsmen mixing and combining those eight manufacturing elements, and then making various shapes such as human figures, elephant figures, horse figures, etc. The second is that in the Buddha Samayoga Tantra and the Jnana Vajra Samuccaya, these ten winds are indicated by symbols such as কোটక్ష. In the tantra called Vajra Gate, it is said that the five root winds are Prana-dhara, Adho-gamana, Urdhva-gamana, Samana-sthiti, Vyapana, and the five branch winds are Gati, Vigati, Sadgati, Pragati, and Niyati. In the Gongpa Lungton and the explanatory tantra Vajramala, the root winds are the same as above, while the five branch winds are described as "Naga, tortoise, crab, Deva-datta, and bow-victorious." Furthermore, in the Vajramala, there are many detailed explanations of the names of the one hundred and eight karma winds, but because they are not very important, they are temporarily set aside. The third is that the Prana-dhara resides in the Dharma-chakra at the heart. Its function is to maintain life and make the mind happy. The path of movement is through the two nostrils. The independent color is white. The element is mainly the water element. The Adho-gamana resides in the Bliss-protection chakra at the secret place. Its function is to expel feces, urine, semen, and control ejaculation.
