is the vehicle, and the pinnacle of all tantras of the Secret Mantra Vajrayana is called the Glorious Guhyasamaja. Furthermore, in the Tantra of the Compendium of All Wisdom Vajras, the Great Bodhisattva asked: "Bhagavan, what is the extent of the Maha Yoga Tantra, the Ubhaya Tantra, the Carya Tantra, the Kriya Tantra, and the Yoga Tantra?" The Bhagavan replied: "The name of the Maha Yoga Tantra is twelve thousand. If divided in detail, it is countless. The Ubhaya Tantra is six thousand. The Carya Tantra is eight thousand. The Kriya Tantra is four thousand. The Yoga Tantra is four thousand. These are thirty-four thousand. As many as there are letters at the end of the names of the tantras and yogas are: ཀ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ཁ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ག་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)གྷ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ང་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning). ཙ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ཚ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ཛ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ཛྷ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ཉ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning). ཊ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ཐ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ཌ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ཌྷ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ཎ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning). ཏ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ཐ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ད་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)དྷ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ན་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning). པ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ཕ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)བ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)བྷ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)མ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning). ཡ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ར་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ལ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ཝ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning). ཤ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ཥ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ས་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ཧ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ཀྵ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning). These are the final letters of the names." It is said. Among them, from ཀ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)to ཋའི་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)is Maha Yoga, from ཌ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)to ད་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)is Ubhaya Tantra, from ངྷ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)to ཡ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)is Carya Tantra, ར་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ལ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ཝ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ཤ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)is Kriya Tantra, and ཥ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ས་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ཧ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)ཀྵ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)is Yoga Tantra. Furthermore, since each letter has a thousand names ending with it, there are thirty-four thousand tantras. Among them, the Gos lineage says, "Sarvadeva Melapaka (梵文:sarvadeva melāpaka) (Romanized Sanskrit: sarva-deva-melāpaka, meaning: assembly of all deities)," like the tantra of the assembly of all deities, ends with ཀ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning). "Vajramukha (梵文:vajramukha) (Romanized Sanskrit: vajra-mukha, meaning: vajra mouth)," like the tantra of the vajra mouth, ends with ཁ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning). "Vinaya Amogha (梵文:vinaya amogha) (Romanized Sanskrit: vinaya-amogha, meaning: discipline unfailing)," like the tantra of discipline unfailing, ends with གྷ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning). They want to compare these to others as well. However, this is not just a name, not just a letter, but appears to be a symbolic method. Since the four classes of tantras are divided into the aspects of skillful means and wisdom in the conventional sense, the aspect of skillful means is indicated by a clear symbol. Among them, the space element shows the bliss of the mind, the wind element shows the yoga of the wind, and the fire element mainly shows the practice of desire. The two letters of the ཀ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)group, ཙ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)group, and ཊ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)group represent Maha Yoga. According to the divisions of the five families, there are five each for space and wind, and for desire, there is solidity.

The distinction between the male "ba" like earth and the female "ma" like soft water. In the continuum of both, the letters representing the three fires and three earths symbolize the five families and Vajrasattva, representing six. The two sets of three, like the six families of skillful means and wisdom spoken of in the Kalachakra, exist only in purity. Or, the earth element represents the body, mainly showing the body mudra of the deity's body. The fire element represents the yoga of bliss and emptiness of the mind. Both of these are also distinguished by the three of body, speech, and mind. In the Kriya Tantra, two earth elements and one wind element, these three are the mantra tantras of the wrathful ones, divided into three by the distinction of body, speech, and mind. The water element is the mantra tantra of the peaceful ones. Although there is no actual term for the five families, it exists in meaning, so it is divided into five by the distinction of the five Tathagata families. Lama Sakya Pandita said, "In the Kriya Tantra, although the meaning of the five families is accomplished, there is no name." Saying this is also well said. The Charya Tantra has three families and the worldly family, making four. In the Yoga Tantra, there is also one type of subtle activity, and from among those belonging to the lower and middle accomplishments, the distinction of the accomplishment of substance, body, and enjoyment is divided into three, making four. In general, the five classes of tantras are not completely contained in these thirty-four thousand tantras, but the tantras that clearly lean towards the glorious Guhyasamaja are these. The ultimate meaning of these tantras must be realized by relying on the Guhyasamaja, therefore, the king or main one, or the peak of these, is the glorious Guhyasamaja. As it says in the commentary on the Lamp Illuminating, "As long as there is ya ra la va ha, the end of ka kha ga, the end of na ja, the end of da dha dha, the end of pa bha. The root of that is three letters. The Dharma heap of the Great Sage, eighty-four thousand, the glorious Guhyasamaja is the summit. Therefore, it is the peak of the tantras." Like this, the root of what these tantras express is the three letters of ultimate truth, namely the wisdom of body, speech, and mind vajra. These are shown very clearly by the glorious Guhyasamaja, while they are slightly hidden in the other thirty-four thousand tantras.
