Q: Is that so? A: For beginners, the concise practice is not only adopted when there is no other method, even just focusing on one point can be effective. Later, if one is able to practice extensively, it is certainly better, but it is not that the concise practice is ineffective. Because the main purpose of practicing the generation stage is to transform ordinary appearances and attachments, making them appear as pure deities with three kinds of excellence. Since the concise practice can also fulfill the main purpose, there is no problem. The detailed order of what is to be purified and what purifies is to make the path sharper and the faith more firm, it is not that the concise one-pointed concentration cannot connect death, bardo, and rebirth, nor can it transform the three bodies into the path. Then, will the subtle practices of outer tantra also be like this? It is not so, because the differences in the generation rituals are different, and the Tathagatas themselves in each tantra have different deity forms and mantra differences, and the way blessings are integrated is also different, so there is no problem. For example, the deity and mantra are the same, and the rituals are similar, but the entry and conduct mentioned in each tantra must be different. Explaining physical isolation as it appears in the Compendium of Practices. Second, explaining physical isolation as it appears in the Compendium of Practices. Among them, some believe that physical isolation is pervaded by the generation stage, some believe that it is pervaded by the completion stage, some believe that it is neither, but live in the mountains or plains, and some believe that the generation stage is from one hundred lineages to three lineages, and the great secret one lineage is the completion stage. 5-247 Like this, although various different views have emerged, thinking that both have their own parts, if you carefully observe the fundamental intention of each view, there does not seem to be much contradiction. Because the completion stage is an uncommon practice, some people say it is the completion stage. Although the direct cause immediately following it is the conceptual mind itself, in general it still depends on the initiation of conceptual mind, and the uncommon previous causes are also conceptual mind. The essence and nature of the generation stage are almost the same.

Therefore, others seem to have made it into the generation stage, and they consider it to be the profound generation stage among them. For the same reason, non-duality can also be achieved, and it is also desired to have both aspects. That which can arise as a deity body from bliss and emptiness is one kind of great secret, and those deity bodies that cannot arise are considered to be hundreds of kinds, etc., and there seem to be various kinds of inappropriateness. However, it seems that those do not need much refutation and establishment on their own. Therefore, in the classification of body isolation, there are three: the body of isolation, the object to be abandoned from which one is isolated, and the samadhi that is isolated from that. The first is that the body of the thirty-six impure substances is the basis, and in that itself, the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, etc., have various different characteristics, which are their individual characteristics. If one breaks down the parts of the body, etc., down to the final atom, it is merely an accumulation of atoms; even if one distinguishes consciousness, it has the nature of many different types of minds; even if one divides each one into three stages of before, after, and middle, in the end, there is nothing other than the existence of momentary fragments, which is the general characteristic. The second, the object to be abandoned from which one is isolated, is that with such a basis and characteristics, 5-248 with inverted and wrong intelligence, one clings to the impure aggregates themselves as pure and good, one clings to the many scattered things as a single coarse whole, one clings to them in common as self, one clings to the aggregates, etc., as real, and one clings to them as ordinary appearances. The third, the samadhi that is isolated from that, has three: essence, cause, classification, and the measure of completion. The first is, quoting the summary of the practice of the tantra that is equal to space: All these beings are the nature of the five Buddhas. They appear like a good dancer and a painter. Wherever there is great bliss, it is said to be the only one. When the only one declines, many dance. This means that one needs a mind that arises as a deity body from bliss, and that bliss is also the nature of the melting appearance of the winds dissolving into the central channel by the power of meditation. That does not need to be generated by truly relying on conceptual thought. The fact that it arises as a deity body is merely that it arises as a deity body in the mind and intellect, but not that it truly arises as a deity body.
