Its body is also not solely self-nature clear light, nor is it solely the appearance of dharmata. Although it is covered by the appearance of cognitive obscurations, compared to the former, it is said to be extremely pure, without defilement, and the sole essence of self-nature clear light. At this time, Lotsāwa Zhönnu Pal of Tsetang said that when practicing the stages of manifest enlightenment, one needs three things: relying on the material bindu at the tip of the secret place, using desire as the path, and relying on karma mudrā, which is the stage of manifest enlightenment; relying on the mantra bindu at the tip of the heart, using hatred as the path, and the stage of the wisdom mudrā of destroying samsara and nirvana; and relying on the wind bindu at the tip of the navel and forehead, using delusion as the path, and the stage of the great seal of wind and tummo yoga. This is like the three mudrās spoken of in the Kālacakra, and although the instructions known as the six dharmas of mahāmudrā in this region seem to be included in the depths of intention, it is not necessary to use the three poisons as the path individually. Even if it is necessary, the latter two are not very certain to be those, and it is not necessary to have different meditations that are specifically determined for each of them. Furthermore, it is said that the vajra recitation accomplishes the clear light of meaning, but it is not just the vajra recitation that relies on the tip of the forehead. It is the name for repeatedly causing the three doors of body, speech, and mind to enter into clear light. Therefore, that explanation is also without seeing the bottom, and although it seems profound and extensive when viewed, it is something that cannot be examined when carefully examined in meaning. Therefore, karma mudrā and samādhi are combined into one during practice, so they are not different. In general, combining the ye-mudrā spoken of in other tantras and the empty-form mahāmudrā, in the tradition of the noble ones, it seems to be called the mind's consort and the wisdom mudrā residing in the heart. The example of the two samādhis is like blowing air onto a mirror, the change in color gathers from the edge to the center, disappears, and dissolves. Similarly, the illusory body of the yogi also relies on the two kinds of samādhi and repeatedly enters into the ultimate reality. That is also because the mirror is the basis for purifying defilements through the stages of clear light, and it is only an example of the deity body of the illusory body, the breath.

Its color turning grayish-white is a metaphor for being mixed and covered with the mind's appearance of the three realms of samsara. Its gathering and disappearing in the center is a metaphor for those that are easy to purify being purified first, and those that are subtle and difficult to purify, like those in the center, being purified later. The Samgraha-krama states: 'Like water in a river or pond, stainless and pure, remaining in a mass. The yogi should constantly contemplate that it gradually perishes in the same way. Just as the wind gradually dissipates on a mirror, so too should it be observed. In this sequence of holding the entirety, one should also truly contemplate in the same way.' Thus, the complete and the dissolution are explained with separate metaphors. The complete holding is similar to the five stages, but since the five stages are taught as common to both, only the illusory body is mixed with and stained by defilements. Here, for the illusory body appearing on one's own system, it is necessary to mix it with the covering of the aggregates and elements of samsara's mind appearance gathered by one's own continuum. The ultimate meaning of this is that it is obscured by karma, winds, and conceptual thoughts. Again, the metaphor for subsequent dissolution is: If a small amount of water remains in a pond, and a lump of ice is placed in the middle, it will melt there in the same way. When the appearance of the container and its contents subside and become solely the aspect of bliss and emptiness, then one's own body, speech, and mind also dissolve and merge into bliss and emptiness. Among these, the complete holding and subsequent dissolution of the three vajras are: The eleventh chapter of the Root Tantra states: 'In the center of the Buddha mandala, place the illuminator on my body. Think of the syllable Oṃ (藏文:༃,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) in the heart, meditate on consciousness in the mantra. In the nature of the Vajra of Cessation, when it arises there, it is the holder of the best of all Buddhas, like the glorious wish-fulfilling one. In the center of the Buddha mandala, intensely meditate on Akṣobhya Vajra. Meditate on the syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) in the heart, and place the mind as a bindu. In the center of the Buddha mandala, intensely meditate on Amitāyus. Think of the syllable Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿) in the heart, and place it as a vajra bindu. This is the best of vows, meditating on the three indestructible vajras, the vow of cessation.'
