It has been abiding from the very beginning, and because it is constantly abiding, it is not a wonder. Moreover, conforming only to conventional truth, it is said: It is not a wonder because it is vast and wonderful and practices the excellent way. Because samsara's nature is not established and the nature of phenomena is free from elaboration, the place to abide and the abider are not established, so it does not become abiding. Because there is no destruction at any time, it does not go quickly. Whatever luminosity is not seen by consciousness, and because it cannot be determined by the mind, it is free from the term of existence, experiences great bliss, and also abides immutably. Because it possesses all aspects, it is also free from the term of non-existence. It is neither the form of merit, feeling, pleasure, and object, nor the form of sin, feeling, suffering, and object. It is not the nature of the combination of merit and sin, nor is it the middle ground of the two, but it is supreme, it is the sacred bliss. Although it is bliss, it is not the feeling of pleasure, and experience is not feeling. It is important to understand this, because all the wise ones are also confused in their minds, this place is very profound. What is said in this way is that all luminosity is emptiness, as said by the victorious Buddha. The greatness of the individual who abides in this stage. Third, the greatness of the individual who abides in this stage is: the yogi obtains suchness. The nature of cause and non-cause, the traveling companion is one. The lion among men is the nature of wisdom. Having obtained an inexhaustible body, he pervades all beings. That round body is also upright. Even if he does not abide on the seat, he abides. Even if he closes his eyes, they are wise old eyes. Even if he does not meditate, he is in meditation. Even if he is free from words, he is beyond expression. Even if he has enjoyment, he is free from grasping. Even if he is the protector of the world, he is separate from others. Whoever realizes this suchness and all faults are exhausted. It is said that the benefit and greatness of the yogi who has obtained the essential practice of luminosity and has generated the wisdom of the luminosity stage in his mindstream is what is to be explained. The student yogi who has perfected the stage of the illusory body is the suchness of the luminosity as mentioned above.

When it is obtained from the kindness of the Lama and arises in the continuum, that yogi becomes endowed with such qualities, being the sole friend who accomplishes the benefit of all beings who are of the nature of moving and non-moving. If moving and (non-moving) are explained as the twelve sources, it is not appropriate to use the term 'friend' for the world of sources. Therefore, it is more appropriate to explain moving as the six classes of beings and non-moving as the intermediate state. Moving is the desire realm, and non-moving is the form and formless realms. Some say that moving and non-moving are those who abide on the earth and in the sky, but there is no reason for this. Others explain it as the beings of samsara and the noble ones. In this case, since the yogi has not yet obtained the actual state of a noble one, it seems inappropriate to associate him with the activities of a noble one. Furthermore, although there is no certainty about outstanding words, these texts are for establishing definitions, not for praise and songs of experience, etc., where one can improvise. Therefore, it is necessary to explain things clearly and precisely. Since that yogi is extremely inclined towards the ultimate reality, he is of the nature of wisdom, and because he understands the true nature of things, he is able to actually refute all those who have entered the wrong path. Therefore, he is fearless like a lion among men. The 'inexhaustible body' means the indestructible body, because he has obtained a result that is in accordance with the body of great bliss. Therefore, he wanders in all places without exception, that is, in all appropriate places, in order to benefit sentient beings. Here, it is said that he has slightly obtained the body of great bliss that is inexhaustible and unchanging, and in other tantras, it is said that unchanging bliss increases as a limb of samadhi. These two have the same meaning. Here, it says that he wanders throughout all beings, and in those texts, it is said that from seeing the unseen meaning of one world system in the ten directions to seeing the meaning of a thousand two hundred and four, the meanings are also the same. As for 'that is upright,' etc., in the Chakgyur it is translated as: 'That is a body that is despised, but also a body that is not despised.' The meaning is that although the twisting of the body, etc., shows the posture of behavior and bad conduct, because one's own wisdom increases and one is able to ripen many sentient beings, therefore it is upright, that is, praised by all.
