That moment of abandoning the three appearances is the clear light wisdom of complete enlightenment, which the supreme lama has explained and introduced. The yogi disciple himself must also make it the object of experience, that is, to realize it. When the initial experience of the clear light stage arises, even if it is only an example of clear light, it can still represent the reality. Because in the state of mind isolation and the illusory body stage, there are ways of realization and experience that cannot be exemplified even by appearances. Compared to those, it is like the actual clear light of meaning. The actual complete enlightenment of the clear light stage is the object of the yogi's direct perception. Before that, it is also the object of aspiration and self-awareness alone, so the yogi himself is called the object. The edge of the boundary, etc. 5-551 According to the usual saying, the boundary, that is, the clear light that symbolizes the edge of darkness with dawn, is not destroyed by conceptual thoughts, etc., nor is it destructible. At what time the collection of darkness has completely passed away, and the moment before the sun rises, that is, this time, the teacher should declare as the example of the stainless and pure edge of clear light. This is (the original text). In the "Change Treatise," it says, "The edge of darkness is completely exhausted, and where the glory of the boundary has completely passed away." According to this translation, the edge of darkness is completely exhausted, and the glory of the boundary has passed away, which have the same meaning, are both names for the passing of night. Thus, the excellent teacher, because he is free from dimness, that is, all afflictions and conceptual thoughts, has shown the disciple the stages of complete enlightenment accompanied by external examples. The one who is truly free from dimness is the master who has attained union, and merely bestowing this instruction on the one who has perfected the illusory body is sufficient if the initial realizations of the clear light stage have arisen in the mind stream. That is also because, relying on the wisdom of example, one has gained experience of the wisdom of meaning, and therefore is the most excellent of wisdom. The awareness clear light that has been in accordance with the instructions bestowed from before is merely in accordance with this nature, the understanding that is separated from non-realization, wrong realization, and doubt has been well established, and those minds in which certainty has arisen based on various experiences.

Trustworthiness is required. Although it is done to symbolize the ultimate meaning with metaphors, what cannot be symbolized by metaphors is the inner bliss, the clear light wisdom that is free from the disturbances of conceptual thoughts, which is called the wisdom of enlightenment of perfect enlightenment. It is obtained through the moments of the dissolution of the three appearances. It is said that externally it can be symbolized by metaphors, and internally it is only a metaphor, but it is said that it cannot be symbolized by metaphors. This is to say that from the perspective of appearance, it can be symbolized by metaphors, and from the perspective of essence, it is the meaning of being free from metaphors. Explaining the nature of emptiness of all things. Secondly, explaining the nature of emptiness of all things: Not the beginning of arising and the beginning of arising, or not the middle of arising and the middle of arising, or not the end of arising or the end of arising, all of these are empty, the Victorious One has well declared. Where there is no going and coming, no end and no increase, neither existence nor non-existence. It is a wonderful form and not wonderful. It does not abide and does not go quickly. Whatever is free from the terms of existence and non-existence, not the nature of merit and not the nature of sin, not the master of merit and sin, is the supreme one. That is the emptiness of all things, the Buddhas say. Thus it is said. To this, some commentators and followers of Mar and Ngok say this: Not the beginning, that is, in the reverse order of arising from the clear light, arising at the very end of everything, and in the forward order, the first arising is the wisdom of appearance. In the forward order, arising between appearance and attainment, and in the reverse order, reversing and arising between attainment and appearance, therefore not the middle of arising, that is, arising. In the reverse order, not the end, that is, the first arising, and in the forward order, the last arising is the near attainment, that is, the basis from which they arise, and the place where they will dissolve, is said to be the clear light of emptiness of all things. If it is thought that way, in this treatise, although there is the advantage of being able to clearly show the forward and reverse order of the three appearances, however, not the middle of arising, in the reverse order, does not match the arising, appearance attainment
