Apart from the distinction of generating illusions from beginningless causes, there is no other difference between dreams and wakefulness. The habits of wakefulness also generate dreams, and the conceptualizations and habits of dreams also generate the happiness and suffering of wakefulness. Therefore, it is very likely that the results of dreams will occur in wakefulness. The verse "Dreams awaken," etc., is very concise. No matter what explanations have arisen regarding this, no one has been able to grasp it as it is in the original text, but they just skim over it vaguely. Furthermore, the occurrence of going to the Thirty-Three Heavens and other places in dreams, even from the perspective of conventional truth, is not that the wind-mind leaves the body and goes there. The clear appearance of dream visions is due to the power of habituation. The appearance of the Thirty-Three Heavens is also due to the power of the habituation of being born as a god. In reality, there is no other reason than the power of the habituation of being born as a god. However, if someone is truly born as a god, they will inevitably be separated from this body beforehand. Here, although the vision of the heavenly realm appears, the breath of the human body does not cease, and one awakens from this body again. Why is this? Although it is merely the same appearance of habituation, it is the difference between whether the results or abilities of previous actions have matured or not. Although one sees the heavenly realm in a dream, because the results of being born as a god have not matured, the subtle wind-mind of that birth's body, before the vision of the heavenly realm appears, changes because the habituation of the heavenly realm is slightly awakened, appearing as a god. Then, when the vision of the heavenly realm disappears, the wind enters in a way that it merges into this coarse wind-mind. The way of entering is not that the wind-mind runs out and then returns inside, but that when the previous pure wind-mind becomes powerful, it itself appears clearly separately. However, when it is again stained by the coarse body, it becomes invisible, like the light of the earth in mirages disappearing into the earth, or a rainbow disappearing into the sky. Also, when the vision of the heavenly realm appears in a dream, the coarse wind-mind and body have the appearance of a human, and this state is not interrupted, and it does not

However, that subtle aspect changes due to the slight awakening of other habitual tendencies, merely appearing as a vision of deities. Whether it is a subtle or coarse wind, it doesn't matter; it is not that it has separated from the body and gone elsewhere. If that were the case, the sleeping body would lack the element of breath. If the habitual tendency that gives rise to the vision of future lives, such as deities, ripens, then, through that power, one will separate from this coarse body and die, and that vision will appear very stable, thereby actually attaining the world of deities, etc. The reason for the difference between ripening and not ripening is that the vision of wakefulness, while temporarily not having lost the support of the body, almost always appears similar in each instance of wakefulness, whereas the vision of dreams always appears different even within the dream itself. Therefore, apart from the difference between the stability and instability of the habitual tendency's vision, in reality, there is no difference between truth and falsehood, because all phenomena are like dreams. This is the meaning of that statement. That all phenomena are like dreams is extensively proven in the root tantra of Guhyasamaja and in the section of the Compendium of Wisdom Vajra that presents twelve examples, as well as in the scriptural citations of the Sutra on the Complete Purification of Karmic Obscurations. These texts dispel doubts about the basis for practicing dream illusory body, the nature of sleep and dreams, and also clearly illustrate the example of the illusory body. Dreams arise from the bliss of sleep, preceded by the three emptinesses, being stirred by the wind. From the very moment of arising, they exist subtly in places composed of minute particles, and because they have abandoned the coarse body and enjoyments, they are subtle. Just as they arise naturally without relying on conceptual thought, similarly, the clear light great bliss, with the wind that has become its mount, arises genuinely without deliberation, having abandoned the coarse elements, preceded by the gradual dissolution of subtle and coarse elements. This, possessing the subtle body, pure land, and enjoyments, is for the sake of gaining a special certainty that 'I am the deity body of self-blessing.' Just as the bodies of the Victorious Ones, the Buddhas, who reside in the pure realms of the ten directions, have no bones, flesh, etc., but are solely wisdom bodies like reflections in water,
