Not to mention the experiences before that. Not even a single non-common experience of secret mantra will arise. Especially, those who slander the guru or become arrogant just by receiving empowerment, those who hold the pride of Vajra Master, those sentient beings with inferior wisdom, will not attain the state of omniscient Buddha for a while. Due to the fact that one's own mindstream is filled with afflictions, one sees the guru's actions as faults. Nor does one understand that merits are merits, Without offering and respecting the guru through wealth and conduct, Instead, in a complaining manner, just, without any time to wait for requesting instructions, wishing to obtain them quickly, and shaking with anger, proclaiming "This guru is not genuine, speaking empty words and lies," thereby proclaiming faults. Some examples say: Words are not gentle, accompanied by anger and shaking. This means that one cannot bear the guru's direct or indirect reprimands. There are also some who, because they have not abandoned the arrogance of seeking greatness, even if they see the guru in a crowd of many people, do not prostrate with their backs turned to the guru, Then, if the guru is alone, they go there and prostrate, there are also such people. Like this, a student who has become of bad nature and has no merit, even if he is one's own son, should be completely abandoned as if he were an unrelated person. Even if one is born into a noble royal family or aristocracy, a stable guru should never keep him by his side. Furthermore, the vessel for teaching instructions is as follows: possessing excellent qualities such as discipline and faith, being clever and clear-minded, possessing wisdom, and striving diligently to practice the path, Or, even if one does not have wisdom and diligence, but has respect for the guru, that is, seeing the guru as inseparable from all Buddhas, this is also suitable as a vessel. In general, possessing excellent wisdom, being able to understand the meaning of the Dharma spoken by the Buddhas, and having very firm courage and vows, having great faith in the Dharma and the individual, such a person can become a vessel in this context.
