From a single mode, Although the appearance of all bases, paths, and fruits arises, because it is the image of a vase in the ultimate sense, the image of a vase in the conventional sense appears. Because it is the image of a pillar in the ultimate sense, it is said that the phenomenon of a pillar in the conventional sense appears. It is not said that the conventional pillar arises from the image of the vase in the ultimate sense, that the vase arises from the pillar, and so on. Although there is no contradiction in meaning, 4-609 it is because it does not conform to worldly customs. Furthermore, for example, the sky is the space that accommodates all forms, and therefore clouds and darkness, etc., will also arise. Wind and sunlight, etc., will also arise. In some cases, when the wind dispels the clouds and the sunlight dispels the darkness, the empty space is clear and without haze, and it is actually seen by the eye consciousness. However, the clouds and darkness, as well as the wind and sunlight, and the eye consciousness that sees the empty space, do not stain the sky. The sky does not produce them either, but the sky does not hinder their arising. Because there is a sky that does not hinder, if the proximate cause is complete, they will arise. Therefore, the names such as clouds appearing in the sky are established. Similarly, this nature of mind does not actually produce the conventional dharmas of the three bases, paths, and fruits, nor is it the cause of their production, nor is their arising its true function. However, because this nature of dharma is of all kinds, samsaric beings, yogis, and Buddhas will experience corresponding phenomena. In those three states, when the dharmas of the base, path, and fruit arise, this mind does not obscure or hinder them, and it exists similarly as their foundation. If there were no such mind nature that does not obscure or hinder, they would not arise. Because they arise when the proximate cause is complete, and this is present, therefore, all conventional dharmas arise from the ultimate dharmadhatu. All the dharmas of the base, path, and fruit have arisen. The various appearances are its function. Therefore, this is an implication, it is cause, effect, agent, and action.

Those who place them are merely nominal designators who conform to the occasion. 4-610 Therefore, in truth, the ultimate truth is not related to the conventional truth. Moreover, since the conventional truth is empty in its own nature, there is nothing to relate to, so it is not related to the ultimate truth. In the conventional mind, the conventional arises because of the reason that the ultimate dharma nature exists. If there is no ultimate dharma nature, then it cannot arise. Therefore, although the ultimate truth is not related to the conventional truth, it is conventionally said that the conventional truth is related to the ultimate truth. That relationship is also merely nominal. Thus, the dharma nature is: "Having all aspects, without any aspects." Because of this, it possesses all aspects of the ultimate truth. In all aspects, it exists by its own nature. It is established and exists by its own nature, but it does not exist in any aspect of the conventional truth, because all aspects of the conventional truth have never existed from the beginning. Such a dharma realm that possesses all aspects is the very nature of mind, so it is called the self-luminous nature of mind. Its essence is unchanging bliss, and its own form is the emptiness-form Mahamudra. Its special characteristic is that it is the nature of all Buddhas of the three times, so it is called the Tathagatagarbha. Therefore, seeing emptiness-form is seeing the nature of mind, seeing the Dharmakaya, seeing the ultimate truth, seeing the reality, and seeing the cessation truth. This is how it is introduced. Relying on emptiness in all its aspects as the basis for all dharmas, this is the fifth introduction. The sixth introduction: Introducing the nature free from elaboration. Secondly, although the nature of mind, which is all-encompassing, has endless aspects of difference, from the perspective of essence, it is merely the great bliss of the sphere. For it, the dharmas of grasping and clinging, and elaboration, have never existed from the beginning. Although the primordial wisdom itself does not manifest deluded appearances from its own nature, 4-611 Because that wisdom is the obscuring nature of the mind stream or consciousness of sentient beings who possess the lineage, they do not see the truly existing nature. Instead, various deluded appearances arise in the mere self-awareness and self-illumination of consciousness. Although the essence is part of delusion, there are many other delusions.
