Everything has never existed, but Like a person with cataracts, it mistakenly appears as seeing hair strands in the sky. Practicing the path Seems to eliminate faults and gain merits. For example, when a person with cataracts looks at a mountain at a moderate distance, nothing on the surface of the mountain, such as grass, trees, shrubs, and wild animals, is visible. Although there is actually nothing on the surface of the mountain, many images of cataracts, such as hair strands, circular lights, and web-like patterns, can be seen. If the cataracts become smaller and smaller by using eye medicine, etc., the hair strands, etc., on the surface of the mountain seem to decrease, and the shrubs, etc., seem to increase. Therefore, the mountain is a metaphor for the mind, hair strands, etc., are metaphors for the three: karma, afflictions, and suffering, and grass and trees, etc., are metaphors for virtues. Hair strands, etc., have never existed before, so they will not decrease later. It is only because the eye disease is cured and the illusion disappears. Grass and trees, etc., have not increased compared to before, but were previously obscured and not seen, and are now seen for the first time. Similarly, the phenomena of samsara are not established in reality, so they will not decrease, but only the illusion becomes smaller. The qualities of virtue naturally reside in the mind, so they will not be newly produced or increased, but were previously obscured and not seen, and the obscurations have become thinner, so the range of vision has become wider. When the cataracts disappear, the hair strands, etc., are not seen at all, and the grass and trees, etc., are seen to be all over, but just as the hair strands are not eliminated and the grass and trees, etc., are not newly produced, when Buddhahood is attained, samsara does not exist at all, and the nature of mind is space, 4-617 pervading and manifesting as the nature of all virtues, it is not eliminating samsara and newly producing virtues, but the virtues that naturally reside in one's own mind are only manifested because the illusion has disappeared. As it is said, "There is nothing other than duality, that is the arising of error, therefore liberation is only the exhaustion of error." This is called the meaning of no acceptance or rejection, that is, there is nothing to be abandoned here, and there is nothing to be established. Another example of no acceptance or rejection is looking for a pond.

Of Someone walking at night mistakes a pond for a stone staircase. When dawn breaks, they realize it's a pond, but the stone staircase cannot be removed. The pond cannot be placed, and the appearance of a yellow conch shell, etc., are similar to this. At this time, if the meditative experience is combined with a moment, an experience of emptiness-form and bliss-clarity arises. That is the Nirvana of self-nature. It is not newly established, but the original reality. Although one has always possessed it, until one encounters a reliable instruction, the individual cannot experience it, cannot realize it, and cannot manifest it. Now, through special methods such as doing and binding, one sees a little. At the very moment when the experience of clarity-emptiness-bliss arises, a thought of good or bad, pleasure or pain suddenly emerges. It lasts for a moment, then disappears, and other thoughts appear again. Thus, thoughts appear as three states of arising, dwelling, and ceasing, which is an illusion. If one looks at its own face, from where does it arise? Where does it dwell? How does it cease? By applying these questions, it is not found in any place, it does not dwell in any place, it cannot be determined at any time, it does not appear in any form, and it is not established in any essence. Therefore, thoughts have never existed from the beginning. Therefore, what appears to exist is merely an illusion. Who arises from what has never existed? Who dwells? Who ceases? This thought is samsara, it is sudden, it appears even though it does not exist. Therefore, thoughts cannot be eliminated, and clarity-emptiness-bliss cannot be placed, so it is called non-thinking, non-dwelling on reality. This can be applied to all other things. This is an introduction to the meaning of non-abandonment and non-acceptance in ultimate reality. This is the seventh introduction to samsara. The eighth introduction to samsara. Introducing the six stages of the six-limbed yoga. Now we will explain the remaining meanings of these. What has been said above must be realized in all stages of the six limbs. However, in the stage of retraction, the main thing is to introduce the mere seeing of signs. In the stage of contemplation, it is important to introduce freedom from elaboration and non-abandonment, non-acceptance. In the stage of life-force exertion, it is the nature of being separated from all elaborations, emptiness-form and mind-nature are inseparable.
