This is the Vajra Descent of Reliance. Due to this cause, the deities abiding in one's own continuum are pleased, and thus the Vajra of Wisdom will descend. Starting from the initial joining of the fingers, up to the ultimate completion of Samadhi, the blessings of the Vajra Descent will increase. Thus, the Vajra Descent, the bliss-emptiness arising from the subtle winds dissolving into the Dharmadhatu, and the complete purification of behavioral bonds, the combination of these three causes the Wisdom Channels to grow intensely, purifies the channels after conventionality, loosens the channel knots, and the winds of grasping and clinging also dissolve from parts into the central channel. The actual wisdom of the Completion Stage arises in one's own continuum. Meditating on the channels (eyes [letters], bindus, etc.) constructed by conceptual thoughts on this ordinary, near-death body may touch upon the coarse material channels, and after a long time, it may even guide the wisdom of the Completion Stage, but to hold that as the ultimate true meaning and profound path is merely exposing the flaws of those filled with pride that appears as great wisdom, like some fools mistaking the fruits of the Jambu tree for jewels. Furthermore, the deity of one's own continuum is the Tathagatagarbha Dharmadhatu. Since that is all-pervasive knowledge, how can it descend upon the body, speech, and mind of a single practitioner? Although the all-pervading deity is pervasive, the individual sentient beings that are pervaded are not all-pervasive, so it is not contradictory that it descends upon one and not another. Moreover, when the body, speech, and mind of the practitioner please the guru, the guru's blessings enter their body, speech, and mind, thereby slightly thinning the obscurations of their three doors. From that very moment, a slight light or appearance of the all-pervading deity dawns, which is the Vajra Descent of the ultimate deity. In reality, that is the case, but for great yogis, in the appearances of the objects of meditation of oneself or others, the deity of Dharmata abides in the body, speech, and mind of the practitioner himself, and as the path is meditated upon, its power increases, thereby blessing.
