Gyu r. That which is called "unchanging" should be understood as unchanging wisdom. If the sound of letters is used to indicate "five letters" and so on, then it enters the indestructible speech nada, so there is no contradiction in either way. Thirdly, as it is said, from the Supreme First Buddha: The mind with defilements such as attachment is the cause of changing samsara. Being separated from it is completely pure. The nature is stainless and pure. As Arya Deva said: Likewise, this mind of self-nature is also transformed by the colors of thought. Ordinary colors of thought make the precious mind empty. From the beginning, it is pure and unborn. The original nature is stainless. As it is said, this mind-essence free from elaboration is the unchanging great bliss, and the emptiness that possesses all supreme aspects, abiding in the indivisible union of wisdom. However, due to the appearance of delusion such as attachment obscuring the mind-stream, sentient beings will enter samsara. When that delusion itself enters the state of no self-nature and goes to self-liberation, it is called the cessation of samsara. In that, as a dharma, the nature of samsara is: the four states, the six aggregates, the six elements, the six faculties, the six objects, the six karmic powers, and the six actions of karmic power. In the "Compendium of Manjushri's View," it is also said: Experiencing pleasure and suffering is always conventional samsara. So it is said. The dharma nature of the cessation of samsara is: the four vajras, the six Buddha families, the six mothers, the six ultimate bodhisattvas, the six goddesses, the six wrathful kings, and the six vajra dakinis. Thus, the first point is to show the nature of the entry and cessation of samsara. The reason why the defilement of the state of samsara is later purified is: as the "Compendium of Empowerment" says: There is no sudden defilement on the mind. The mind is not long-lasting. There is no birth without mind. There is no inexhaustible abode on the mind. Briefly stated in the manner of a vow: If this is only sudden, then before that the mind is undefiled. When the mind is longer than time, then from what does it arise? If it is born without mind, then at that time a flower in the sky.

As it is. If the mind always remains, then there is no complete liberation. Thus, it is extensively explained by establishing the reasoning. Just as the impurities of copper are diminished by the combination of acids, similarly, the impurities of the mind are completely diminished by the combination of emptiness. Thus, it is clearly stated how to dispel the adventitious impurities from the nature. It is not that the mind was initially without impurities and later new impurities arose. If that were the case, then after having already abandoned the two obscurations, it would be a fault to assume that they could arise again. It is also impossible for attachment and other afflictions to exist before the mind itself exists. If they did, then attachment and other afflictions would become causeless. Attachment and other afflictions also do not arise without the mind. If they did, then flowers would also grow from the sky, because they are similar in arising without their own place. It is not permissible for the essence of impurity and mind to be either the same or different and inseparable. If it were, then liberation from the mind being free from impurity would be impossible. Therefore, the mind and attachment and other afflictions are like gold and tarnish. When one is initially established, the other is also established, so they are always together. However, since impurity is never the essence of the mind, even if impurity is abandoned, the mind itself is not exhausted. The mind that has abandoned impurity becomes liberation. For example, the mere substance of iron or copper, its color black or red, and the characteristics of being hard and strong, have always been together from the beginning and appear inseparable. However, the mere substance of iron and copper is not the essence of these, so when it is cooked with the essence of alchemy, the black and red colors are not beautiful, and the hard and strong substance deteriorates, but the substance of iron and copper itself does not deteriorate. The pure gold becomes beautiful in color and soft in nature. In this way, both entering and reversing samsara are reasonable. The second point is to explain the reason why samsara can enter and reverse. In this regard, I will briefly explain the establishment of entering samsara. The four drops shown above are the nature of reality, and the adventitious impurities like rust are the habitual tendencies of the four states, and all the phenomena of samsara arise from them. That is, the mind is the naturally clear light.
