They are reversed by means of... Those are the modalities of wind dependent on the coarse. That itself is the wind of matter. The slightly subtle wind is the wind of consciousness. In the Explanatory Tantra, the Vajra Garland, it says: "The wind called conceptual thought of enlightenment, is greatly proclaimed. From the self-life that has become the essence, there is no other in the three realms. The three realms of the illusory wind, appear like dreaming a dream." Thus, the movement of the mind, together with the appearance of objects, is the grasping aspect of consciousness that appears as the supporting wind. The extremely subtle wind is the great life of the nature of reality, and in the tantra called 'Prophecy of Intentions' it says: "Thus, from the invisible subtle, it is always proclaimed as clear." And, "Wind is called bodhicitta." Thus, the essence of the Tathagata, the aspect of the ultimate wind, is all the inexpressible sounds. Thus, the great wind of wisdom is all aspects, and the conventional winds also follow it. Therefore, from the various tantras and the different instructions of the accomplished masters, infinite different wind yogas have arisen, but they converge on one essential point. The modalities of bindus. Third, the modalities of bindus. In general, if bindus are differentiated, there are the conventional bindu of consciousness and the ultimate bindu of wisdom. With regard to the former, the way in which bindus abide is as follows: Below the navel, possessing the essence of blood, the master of all redness, the lord of all heat, the inner sun, and karmic Caṇḍālī, and what is called the conventional bindu, abide. Above the wheel of the crown, possessing the supreme essence of semen, the inner moon, and the indestructible syllable Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हं, Sanskrit Romanization: haṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ), and what is called the conventional spring, possessing the master of all whiteness, possessing the nature of melting bliss, abide. Those two are the basis for the arising of all bindus, and in terminology, they are also established as having the nature of E-vaṃ (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思). From that, in relation to the four elements, at the forehead is the bindu of the water element, possessing the nature of the moon, which is the body; at the throat is the bindu of the fire element, the sun is speech; at the heart is the bindu of the wind element, Rāhu is mind; at the navel is the bindu of the earth element, the fire of time is wisdom, that is the bindu.

These are the so-called four. For these, only the name of imperishability is established. From the body's bindu arises the state of wakefulness, from the speech's bindu arises the state of dreaming, from the mind's bindu arises the state of deep sleep, and from the wisdom's bindu arises the illusion of the fourth state. At the time of the path, it also serves as the cause for the arising of the four joys. When the bindu of ultimate reality is realized from these four conventional bindus, it is established as the attainment of the four bodies. For these four, in the manner of pervasion, the bindu of the space realm is established at the crown, and in the secret place, the bindu of the wisdom realm is established, totaling six. These latter two have the same meaning as the previous two root bindus. There are also cases where they are established as the five-wheel bindus to be pervaded and the secret-wheel bindu to be pervading. The pervading also abides in the nature of the self-liberated bindus of body, speech, and mind, with the three distinctions of navel, secret, and jewel. Furthermore, from the classification of elements, there are twelve essences, twenty-four impurities, and the great pervading bindu, totaling thirty-seven. The twelve essences are the eight petals of the heart, plus the three upper channels combined into one, the three lower channels separated individually, and adding these four, the twelve essences flow from these twelve channels. Among them, from the four directions and the upper five aggregates' essences, from the four intermediate directions and the lower urine channel flow the five elements' essences, and from the vagina channel and the feces channel flow the two wisdom realms. These latter two, from the oral instructions of the previous lamas, are explained as the joy bindu and the coemergent bindu, combined with the joy and coemergent winds. The twenty-four impurities are from the bindu that produces teeth and nails to the bindu that produces mucus, which are known as the twenty-four elements in most mother tantras. For these, also, with the distinction of three states, they are divided into seventy-two, and each of them flows in its respective channel location, each with thousands of ways, therefore they are considered to be seventy-two thousand elements. What are those three states? They are with the help of particles and wind, growing and flourishing upwards, which is the state of autonomy.
