This is the happiness that arises from settling down. The so-called "path of darkness" is the name of fire, a sign that there is fire burning wood, like seeing smoke rising. Likewise, the accomplished Dharma also said: "First, be liberated from beginning and end, rely only on a little Madhyamaka, abide there whatever you desire, the ten appearances of this are the self." In the latter three verses, in other translations it says: "Just abide in the Middle Way, abide in it and abandon it, from which ten signs arise." This is easy to understand. The first beginning and end indicates association with the middle one of the three brothers, and also indicates that the mind abides in the empty sky of Madhyamaka, which is free from the three of arising, ceasing, and abiding. For the sky and awareness itself, it also abides by abandoning the grasping of both being and non-being, existence and non-existence, and thus the appearance of the wisdom of the ten signs of self-nature will appear. The accomplished Tsarbati also said: "Do not rely on real things, make things unreal. The mind is made non-mind, do not make it nothing." It is said that the mind was previously conceptual, and it is made non-mind, non-conceptual. At this time, there is nothing, and it should not be made invisible and unseen. Instead, the mind is stabilized and placed on the empty form of reality that is not a subtle object. From this, it will be known that some of the things that are usually seen are things that do not appear, and some are things that appear but are not real. This also clearly explains the stages of meditation. It is also said: "Where in the immaculate sky, half-opening the eyes, the support of the mind generated by great radiance and compassion, being, non-being, and both, are separated from the distinction between things and non-things, all the followers of emptiness, such as smoke, suddenly appear." This is said. Although this exists in the Six Yogas of the Great Peerless Ocean of Accomplishment, it is clear that the words of an accomplished one who came before were inserted at that time. The lamas say that this is the teaching of the accomplished Nagarjuna Bodhi. In the immaculate sky of day and night, the posture of looking up with half-open eyes is transformed into the non-conceptual mind.

Burn away the conceptual thoughts that cling to existence, non-existence, and both. Compassion that radiates and pervades all sentient beings, and other than meditating on non-conceptualization, without distinguishing between things that exist and do not exist, if you meditate in this way, the mind naturally follows emptiness, which is free from elaboration, and suchness, which possesses all supreme qualities of emptiness, will suddenly arise without having to wait long. The great accomplished one, the Black Practitioner, also said, "When the full moon rises, at that time the king of the mind sleeps soundly, joy and compassion are the sound of the ḍāmaru." And, "On the left and right, there are tax collectors, Kahna (梵文天城体:kahna,梵文罗马拟音:kahna,汉语字面意思:Kahna) said, 'This is the middle path.' The mind realizes that the precious jewel is completely liberated. The silent, ignorant city, five flowers appear and dissolve into it. The joyful mind is given by the sky." Thus it is said. When the moon of the wisdom of emptiness and form arises, the king of the mind, along with conceptual consciousness, sleeps and dissolves into it. At that time, joy like the bliss of meditation, and the sound of the ḍāmaru of compassion, melting bliss, and immutability, resound. Here, the latter part of that sentence is missing. In the commentary on the Treasury of Conduct Songs, it says, "At that time, the king of the mind sleeps soundly." appears, but the word "joy" does not appear. The flow of wind in the paths of the two channels, left and right, is like the path where taxes are collected on paper and so on. The mind, like a guest, travels relying on those two winds, and like a tax collector causing harm, various afflictions arise, and various sufferings occur. In the gaps between those paths, the tax collector of the path does not have awareness. If merchants go there, like a tax collector not causing harm and walking in ease, by meditating on non-conceptualization in a bound and possessed manner, like a secret path, on the path of the middle way, without the harm of conceptual thoughts, afflictions, and suffering, one goes into the realm of great bliss. Moreover, the bindu of melting bliss and immutability is a precious jewel, and the great joy within it, through the co-emergent melting bliss, liberates the obscurations of manifest bliss that drips. That co-emergent melting bliss and immutability is in accordance with the ultimate bodhicitta, the mind.
