Gathering on the single object of focus that has been spoken of. 4-281 According to this system, it is also for the purpose of meditating by ultimately gathering the four into one. The brief indication spoken of in the tantra commentary is the extensive explanation of this instruction. Therefore, the instruction of the order of absorption, this system of Vibhuti, is considered supreme even by others. Regarding this, some say that Vibhuti taught his own disciples Marton, Jontsul, Gyalwa, and Nyepo, each according to their individual intelligence, separately indicating different key points of the object of focus. Kunkhyen Chenpo (Kunkhyen Chökyi Drakpa, 1284-1359) heard all four and compiled them into one, but in reality, that is not the case. The accomplished Shavaripa was liberated through the doha of the great Brahmin, and relying on the doha, these instructions of Shavaripa were taught by Vibhuti Chandra. Therefore, in this near lineage, these four objects of focus have been present from the beginning, and were not compiled. Moreover, what is said is truthfully related to the source, and we have not embellished it in the hope of making it better, because there is no need. The reason is that if it were compiled by Kunkhyen Chenpo, the emanation of the lineage holder, even if it were compiled, it would be sufficient, so there is no need to seek a better source than that. Therefore, these five categories of objects of focus fully possess the characteristics of complete absorption, so after fully explaining these, it would be appropriate to enter the dark guidance of the actual night yoga, but these four or five objects of focus, although it is easy to explain in one session, are difficult for disciples of lesser intelligence to grasp, and it is inconvenient to practice the object of focus for several days. Therefore, it is easier to practice by first explaining the actual dharma session oneself, and then entering the dark guidance at night. Therefore, only give the non-conceptual yoga and practice diligently for seven days. After that, if you immediately meditate on the daytime yoga, then only the non-conceptual yoga. 4-282 Is placed in the position of daytime yoga and bound to be meditated upon. After the daytime guidance has passed as it should, the later objects of focus, such as the one-pointed yoga, can now be practiced jointly during both day and night. Regarding the daytime yoga, oh.

However, the difference lies in the fact that, in the case of "where the focus is directed," there arises a distinction between darkness and the clear blue sky with light. Therefore, the constraints of the way the eyes look also differ. No matter how one looks in a dark room, one can only see the dark sky. If one half-covers the eyes in the direction with light, one cannot see the clear blue sky, so one must open the eyes. Initially, in dark guidance, various uncertain things such as water, trees, mountains, rocks, animals, and people appear. However, in the daytime sky, light and dots appear again and again, but other uncertain things mostly do not appear. If one becomes very accustomed, they will appear without distinction. In night yoga, for those who can see various signs within seven days, it mostly takes about three or four months for such appearances to occur in daytime yoga. Night yoga has both stable and unstable states. Once daytime yoga arises, it naturally becomes stable. During the time of Tummo (inner heat yoga), Lama Tsami Lotsawa's teachings say: the body is like a city, the channels are like streets, the wind is like a horse, and the mind is like the person riding the horse. If one can block the channel doors through binding, it is like blocking the street doors, so the wind-mind, like a person and a horse, will not leak out. If it is not blocked, then it is the opposite. The teachings say: In the practice of the three vajras of Bungtra Ugyenpa's oral instructions, "In the realm of space, the planets are firmly bound. In the center of the ocean, the three channels and branches are gathered." When retracting, one also says to do the vase breathing in the upper, middle, and lower parts, but do not expose the abdomen and joints. Do everything else like Tummo, and consider that to be the fundamental goal of retraction. If one makes that the fundamental goal according to one's own system, it does not accord with the tantras. The previously familiar union will later have less effect. If one does it like the later Tummo described in the Three Yogas Heart Essence and the Kalachakra Ear-Lineage, the tantras say that forceful union is Tummo. This (referring to the practice here) is also a type of forceful channel practice, so it accords with the tantras. If one is already accustomed to the ordinary visualization, and then occasionally engages in this intense union.
