The formless realm has only the space element, thus it is one-fold; the fourth dhyana has the wind element added on top of that, thus it is two-fold; the other form realms, namely the gods of the third, second, and first dhyanas, have the fire element added on top of the former, thus it is three-fold; the gods of the desire realm have the water element added on top of that, thus it is four-fold; human beings have the earth element added on top of that, thus it is five-fold. Although the wisdom element pervades everything, when the other elements are subtle, wisdom is also subtle; when the others are coarse, wisdom also appears coarse. Therefore, just as the five elements that pervade the human body have great power, the pervading wisdom also has great power, so it is called six-fold. Thus, the space element mentioned here does not refer to the non-existent space like "space and cessation are two." The so-called empty dust does not do much of the activity of contact and obstruction, but it is a characteristic of dust and is beyond the scope of sensory experience. The sutra system also agrees with the saying that "a person is a combination of six elements." Thus, just as the body of a person universally possesses the five elements, the dependent bindu bodhicitta also possesses the five elements, and the dependent mind's dharma, which is mixed with the five without distinction, namely change, bliss, and habitual tendencies, is the wisdom element. Thus, because the earth element is the coarsest among the elements, its bindu and the changing bliss wisdom element that depends on it are also extremely coarse. During the stage of practicing the path, it is easy to hold the coarse earth element, and by binding the coarse, the subtle will also be bound naturally. If the coarse is not bound at the beginning, there is no way to bind the subtle alone. Therefore, in order to obtain the supreme accomplishment in this life, one must cultivate unchanging bliss. For this, one must accomplish melting bliss and immutability. Both of these depend on binding the bodhicitta, so when binding, one must bind from coarse to subtle in sequence. It is said that on a body with six elements, one can achieve the wisdom body, the supreme accomplishment, in one lifetime and one body, but this is not said for others. Although that is not impossible, it is a very rare occurrence. To become a Buddha in one lifetime and one body

Leading them to that place means: Those who in previous lives had the karmic connection to enter the secret mantra, like those who attain excellence in this life, attain excellence through successive lives. They do not become Buddhas in one lifetime. Moreover, in previous lives, they relied on the sutra system to grasp the beginning of the path, and cultivated the qualities conducive to liberation in their minds. Even if such a person attains liberation by practicing secret mantra in this life, it is because the path to liberation has already been cultivated in their mind. After that, due to karma and afflictions, they have to take another birth in samsara, so they do not attain excellence in one lifetime. What, then, might one think? It is necessary to have greatly cultivated the roots of virtue, both general and special, that are conducive to merit in previous lives, and to have made special aspirations. Otherwise, one will not enter the vehicle of mantra in this life. However, if someone who has not cultivated even a small amount of the accumulation path in their mind in a previous life enters the gate of mantra in this life and newly cultivates the qualities conducive to liberation, then the meaning of attaining excellence in that one lifetime, before the existence of death arises, is that without abandoning this body of complete maturation, but abandoning the impure body and transforming into abiding in the body of wisdom, that is called attaining excellence in one lifetime, or attaining the accomplishment of the great seal, or accomplishing the body of non-duality wisdom, or attaining union. This is called attaining the state of a small Buddha, and therefore one obtains the title "manifestly and completely awakened." From then on, there is no birth or death due to the power of karma and afflictions, and the body of wisdom is also uninterrupted. Therefore, relying on that basis, one ultimately realizes the actual complete and perfect Buddha or the non-learning union. 4-117 In that case, since there is first a human body and later a body of union, that is, two bodies are passed through, would one think that one lifetime does not become one body? In general, as mentioned above, attaining union is also considered becoming a Buddha, and attaining some ultimate common accomplishment is also considered becoming a Buddha, and so on. There are many different establishments, so one should not be attached to a single Buddhist term. However, even if we consider it from the perspective of complete and perfect Buddhahood here, it is from the beginning of generating the qualities conducive to liberation to later attaining the ultimate state.
