Since it exists, no matter how many other sins there are, it cannot fundamentally destroy the precious Bodhicitta. In any situation, the cause of not forgetting Bodhicitta in all lifetimes is to learn the four white dharmas and abandon the cause of forgetting, the four black dharmas. That is, for each black dharma, a white dharma arises as an antidote, which is called the practice of four pairs and eight dharmas. If you practice the four white dharmas, then abandoning the four black dharmas is included in it, and there is no other. That is, deceiving the worthy offering is the antidote to the black dharma, and not telling a known lie is the white dharma, which is the first pair. Saying that not praising Bodhisattvas is the antidote to the black dharma, praising all Bodhisattvas is the white dharma, which is the second pair. Generating regret for others doing good deeds that are not a cause for regret is the antidote to the black dharma, and doing one's best to place all related beings in the good deeds of the three vehicles is the white dharma, which is the third pair. Treating sentient beings with hypocrisy and deceit is the antidote to the black dharma, and treating all sentient beings with superior intention is the white dharma, which is the fourth pair. Among them, treating with hypocrisy and deceit refers to the actions of body, speech, and mind that arise from hypocrisy and deceit. Superior intention refers to taking on the benefit of others, such as offering benefits and victories to others, or being frank and sincere inside and out, speaking frankly like father and son or brothers, without relying on the meaning of the heart. That's what they say. Second, explain the four immeasurables. These four immeasurables are the cause of the arising of Bodhicitta for those who have not yet generated it, and the supreme means of stabilizing and increasing it for those who have already generated it. Therefore, all those who practice Mahayana yoga should diligently practice the four immeasurables. 4-165 Among them, the first point, the fault of being separated from the four immeasurables is: one will be disturbed by many afflictions, such as hatred, harmfulness, dislike of others' happiness, and greed for desire, etc., because there is no antidote to act arbitrarily, leading to an increase in the misdeeds of body, speech, and mind, and relying on greed and hatred,

Moreover, many other afflictions will increase, thus generating endless faults in this life and the next. As it is said in the Ornament of the Sutras: A Bodhisattva with malice, And hostility, displeasure, malice, Possessing desire and attachment, Touches many kinds of faults. It is also said that the faults are as follows: Afflictions destroy the self, destroy sentient beings, and destroy morality. With deterioration, one declines due to acquisition, is guarded, and similarly, is reproached by the teacher. With disputes, one has a bad reputation and is born in places where there is no leisure. With the loss of what is obtained and not obtained, one experiences great mental suffering. As it is said, these faults are the general faults of all afflictions and misdeeds. However, the root or main cause of all of these is {ཡབ་ (Tibetan), [འདོད་] (Tibetan), काम (Sanskrit Devanagari, kāma, Sanskrit Romanization, meaning "desire"), [欲] (Chinese literal meaning)}, desire, hatred, displeasure, etc. Therefore, it is said to be the faults of those. Secondly, the benefits of meditating on the immeasurables are: As it is said in the same text: All these faults, for love and so on, do not arise when one is well-established. One who is not afflicted does not completely abandon samsara for the sake of sentient beings. As it is said, love is the antidote to malice, compassion is the antidote to hostility, joy is the antidote to displeasure, and equanimity is the antidote to both attachment to loved ones and hatred. Thus, the four immeasurables eliminate those afflictions, and by eliminating those afflictions, those faults of afflictions will not arise later. The way to eliminate them is through relying on the approximation of meditation, etc. There are many explanations in the Abhidharma, but for now, they are not needed, so they are omitted. Those who say that love and so on do not eliminate the seeds of afflictions are referring to the views of worldly people and Hearers, speaking from a general perspective. A Bodhisattva who is dull and unskilled in means will also be like that, but for those, it only prevents those afflictions from manifesting and is only a suppressing antidote. However, the four immeasurables of a Bodhisattva who is skilled in means, because they have the aspect of the selflessness of phenomena, are also very effective antidotes for destroying the seeds and imprints of afflictions. Therefore, love is
