Those are just idle talks, you should know that there is no meaning at all. If you realize the mind, 4-333 you can accomplish the deeds of the Buddha. Merely realizing the mind itself is not enough. You must directly realize the true nature of the mind, and that realization must reach its ultimate completion in order to attain Buddhahood. Now, merely having some understanding of the movements arising under conceptual thought is not called realizing the mind. Seeing the nature of mind {also [is] not}. Saying this, if you realize the mind, you might even become a Buddha, but it seems that you have not realized the mind. If realizing the mind leads to Buddhahood, what benefit would it bring to you? Thus it is said. In our own tradition, we abandon the obscuration of realizing that the mind has no inherent nature. By abandoning the obscuration, we realize the nature of the mind. By accumulating merit, virtues arise. When the abandonment of obscurations and the completion of virtues are complete, then the realization of the nature of mind is complete. Only then will a fully enlightened Buddha appear. For the false yogis who wander in the villages, there is no key to the nature of mind. Directly realizing the mind itself means that the seventh ground is the mind, that is the activity. The ultimate realization of the nature of mind is the wisdom Dharmakaya. There is no certainty in examples or similarities, or even small parts. It is not worth scolding those kinds of people so much. Even ordinary people who only look at awareness superficially and do not even know the names of the Dharma have it. It is like when someone has a serious illness and feels a little better, and you ask them how they are doing, they might say, "Nothing, just a little dizzy." Is that understanding the nature of the mind? Or they might say, "I am happy now, I am angry now." They just look at the happiness and anger, and recognize them, but does that lead to the self-liberation of conceptual thoughts? Does it become Dharma? If merely recognizing the abiding and moving of the mind itself makes it Dharma, then it needs to be able to perceive appearances as illusory and the nature as inexpressible, like the sky. For us, the main method for directly realizing the nature of mind is to meditate on the ten signs of luminosity. 4-334 The reasons for this have already been explained in detail. The Buddha's intention and our own tradition are not just about the experience of emptiness and form. Although it is the self-appearance of the Dharmakaya, for the time being, we say to them: It is just a meditative experience, so you have not realized the true nature. It is better if no experience arises at all.

The evil destinies, animals, etc., will become better. If you practice, it is natural to have setbacks. However, is it better not to practice? If it is good, let it stay by itself. What is the use of being narrow-minded? Unable to stay in the mountains, unable to meditate, staying in shame. It's like the stomach being wide on its own. The difference between the Great and Small Vehicles is, distinguished by the view of generating Bodhicitta and realizing emptiness. It is not distinguished by having or not having acceptance and rejection. Having no acceptance and rejection requires a way of having nothing. It is not called having no acceptance and rejection to eat whatever comes, sleep like a pig, and associate with bad people. Viewing all virtues as the Lesser Vehicle is fundamentally the extreme of wrong views among the ten non-virtues, you should know. Saying there is no acceptance and rejection, while spending a lifetime in acceptance and rejection, what is this? Having no acceptance and rejection with hungry faith and attachment placed in the heart. Saying there is no acceptance and rejection, this, apart from being a black backing for reckless abandon, is the great road to evil destinies without the slightest mixture of white virtuous Dharma. Therefore, don't think that you don't need to practice Dharma, you are enlightened now, the way of dying is lazy, and the heretical, impure ocean from which there is no time to escape from hell after death, is the profound Dharma nectar spring that is small in effort and great in wonder. Therefore, the practice of Dharma, firstly requires detailed acceptance and rejection of karma and its results, in the middle requires proficiency in compassion and Bodhicitta, and finally requires the realization of emptiness that is naturally liberated from all clinging. Entering the Secret Mantra, 4-335 Above those, there is a need for pure vows, strong devotion to the Guru, and diligence in the yoga of the two stages. Especially if you meditate intently on any object of focus, you can stop all afflictions and generate all qualities. Having met this union path of Vajra Yoga, do not act rashly. In short, do not follow those so-called Lamas and Geshes who are controlled by the eight worldly concerns of attachment and aversion, nor the so-called wise ones who cultivate their own experiences haphazardly without basis, nor the so-called great practitioners who are false and deceptive. But you must enter the Dharma spoken by the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Having met this Dharma, do not hesitate now.
