It is sufficient, and gold is also sufficient in its own color, so it does not need to be changed to white. If it is made of earth, it is said that the color should be changed to white. For each action: gold, silver, copper, iron, and crystal should retain their own color; the skull should be coated with ashes from the cemetery and human fat to make it black; and earthen and wooden vases should be made yellow. Secondly, the size of the vase: For pacifying and increasing, the belly should be round, with a width of sixteen fingers. The height of the belly itself should be fourteen fingers. The total height of the vase should be twenty fingers. The spout should droop two fingers. The height of the neck is generally six fingers, but two fingers are under the spout, so it is four fingers. The width of the mouth is eight fingers. Divide it into three parts, the middle two parts are the hole of the mouth, which is the passage of the throat. Each half on the left and right is the opening of the mouth, that is to say, in fact, it is divided into six parts, and the middle four parts are the hole. Roughly calculated, the hole of the mouth is five fingers, and the width of the edge of the mouth is two and a half fingers each. The finger here is also measured by the size of the thumb. For the action of hardening, the special height of the belly is twelve fingers. Generally speaking, the thickness, length, width, and height are equal, all sixteen fingers. The height of the neck is four fingers. The spout is thick, two fingers. The width of the mouth is six fingers. For expulsion and separation, the belly is small, that is, the circumference is twelve fingers. The neck is eight fingers, with three curves. The spout is one finger. The height is twenty-four fingers. The width of the mouth is six fingers, one-third of which is the hole. For killing, the skull should be made into a bird's beak shape, and the hole in the back of the head should be used as the mouth of the vase. Some people also think that the vase is made of assembled skulls, but this is not good. Others think of using a skull bowl, but the skull bowl is the most important in the action of killing. It seems that a distinction needs to be made between the vase and the Wrathful Great One, so the former is reasonable. For subjugation, there is no fixed shape or size, it depends on how the craftsman makes it. For bewilderment, although it is not clearly stated, it is similar to hardening. For all actions, it should be combined similarly to any of the three, pacifying, increasing, and subjugating. Among them, the vase has no roots and is not black, meaning that if it is a pottery vase, there are no black spots when firing, and except for subjugation, there are no roots, that is, no base. The color is white.

The method of anointing is: anoint with white sandalwood paste, or with the juice of soaked rice, or even with white clay. Third, regarding the number of vases: According to the practice of this tantra, once a large mandala has been constructed, if conditions permit, it is not said in the scriptures that there should be fewer than five. If the number is large, it can be equal to the number of deities, or even more than the number of deities, up to infinity. However, the numbers five or ten are the most important. In general, in this tantra, the vases with the same form and name are five or ten, and those with different forms and names are: in the case of a group of five, there is the victorious vase, which is the sixth; in the case of a group of ten, there is the great victorious vase, which is the eleventh. Although these two have the name of vases, their forms are conch shells, skull cups, or water offering vessels. Therefore, the great victorious vase is certainly not in the form of a vase, while the eight vases in the eight directions and the victorious vase are certainly in the form of vases, and the victorious vase has both cases. In the case of a group of five vases, the victorious one is a conch shell, and in the case of a group of ten vases, it is the form of a vase. If it exceeds ten, if there is one extra, it is the father and mother of the main deity; if there are two extra, it is the father and mother respectively; if there are three extra, it is the main deity's parents and all the retinue; if there are four extra, it is the heart mandala and speech mandala of the retinue, etc.; five and six are the speech mandala, and the body mandala is one each, and the great bliss wheel should also be set up separately. Or five are the main deity and the four families; six are the six families, etc., and finally it can be equal to the number of six hundred and thirty-six deities. If it exceeds this number, ten vases can be set up for the main deity, etc., and the families are distinguished in this way, but what is most needed now is any one of five or ten. Moreover, making many vases is for empowerment for consecration and supreme accomplishment, and for all activities and pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, and subjugating. For other activities, no more than ten vases are allowed. The great victorious vase in the ten vases and the victorious vase in the five vases use conch shells in pacifying and increasing activities such as eliminating disasters and praying for blessings, skull cups are used in the three activities of killing, expelling, and separating, copper and gold are used in attracting power, and earthen bowls are used in ignorance and rigidity. The scriptures say so, so they should be treated separately. For these, there are also distinctions between pervasion and being pervaded. The scriptures say: Dragons and the four jewels are golden vases.
