Even if a minor mistake occurs, it won't be like some who make a great fuss over things that aren't purely Dharma matters. We would never do that; instead, we would distinguish between what is orthodox and what is not. If it's not done by an accomplished one, not permitted by the deities, and without oral instructions, but just based on the arrogance of a little hearing, mixing in the practices of other traditions, or newly composing something and forcefully pushing it, it will be of no use at all, only making the students suffer in vain. Selecting a site and especially abiding. Having thus established a general understanding and gained a definite knowledge of the important ritual sequence, now we enter the second part, the actual ritual. First, examining the land; second, self-generation deity yoga; third, especially abiding the land; fourth, subsequent rituals. First, the tantras say, "The types of land vary into four due to the power of qualities: commoner caste, lord caste, king caste, Brahmin caste," etc., elaborating on the meaning. The color of the land, black, is the commoner caste, used for the three activities of killing, expelling, and separating; yellow is the lord caste, used for the three activities of bewilderment, stiffening, and subduing; red is the king caste, used for the activities of subjugation and summoning; white is the Brahmin caste, praised for peaceful and increasing activities. Green is the outcaste caste, used for all activities. Blue, if the color is bright, is also the same, but if it's not bright, it appears similar to black. Examining the smell of the land, the smell of pus is the commoner caste, the smell of salt is the lord caste, the smell of lotus flower is the king caste, the smell of sandalwood and other excellent smells is the Brahmin caste. One can also examine the taste: sour and salty are the commoner caste, sweet is the lord caste, spicy is the king caste, bitter and astringent are the Brahmin caste. If both smell and taste are complete, it is the outcaste caste, belonging to the space element, and can be used for all activities. Other classifications of activities can be explained by the preceding castes. 3-518 If these are complete from the beginning, that is best. If they are not complete, it is permissible to replenish them during the restoration. Furthermore, if the center is high and the surroundings are low, or if it slopes towards the east and north, and if the river flows clockwise, etc., as well as examining the foundation of the mandala house with water and examining with earth, etc., it is also permissible to supplement in accordance with the general methods. Since this is not explained in detail here, it is not necessarily required, except when building a temple, otherwise the mandala.

Because there is no custom of building houses in Tibet, it only exists as a place. Second, in current practice, preliminary torma and the blessing of places and objects are performed first, and then the self-generation deity is meditated upon. First, contemplate the inner offering, from "..." to "arise pride." Third, it is divided into several aspects. First, requesting the ground from manifestation, although it is requested from the king and other landowners, it is not necessary to practice now. Here are nine key points: requesting from the local deity and village deity, burning the demon hordes, requesting permission from the earth goddess, purifying the land, burying treasures, occupying the position with a protective wheel, demarcating the boundary with pegs, treading the land with dance steps, and inviting the vajra ground. First, in the land ritual of empowerment, only the torma mantra of the village deity is mentioned, while in the sadhana, only the long torma mantra of the local deity is mentioned. Legpai's son reversed the two. Therefore, saying that the others are choices, although there is no great contradiction, however, the local deity and the village deity have differences in size and also in jealousy. Doing both is the practice of the master of one's own sect, and the reason is that, in general, it is to pacify the obstacles of the practitioner himself and the overall activities of the area, and to praise the local deity for accomplishing favorable conditions. When engaging in corresponding affairs in that area, it is very important to please the village deity in order to avoid inauspiciousness for oneself and the disciples, and to obtain favorable conditions. Therefore, doing both is a good practice. Then, the second is burning demons, visualizing oneself as the body of Kalachakra, with the moon on the forehead, etc., as described in the sadhana. Generally, it is related to meditate on the protective wheel immediately after burning demons, but here, in order not to obstruct the offering of the earth goddess, purifying the land, and burying treasures, demons are burned before these. That is to say, for the torma of the ground deity and ghosts, etc., demonic obstacles rarely enter, but for worldly and transcendental gods, especially when offering, many obstacles enter. For worldly gods, if obstacles enter the offerings, the offerings
