Therefore, until all the deities of the supreme mandala are fully manifested, this is the fifth manifestation of enlightenment. Then, in order to clearly visualize the deities, the manifestation from "oneself as the glorious Kalachakra" to "becoming wish-fulfilling trees" is mostly easy to understand in the tantric commentaries. To explain the difficult points a little: "Six shoulders" refers to the length of about six fingers from the thickest part below the throat to the joint of the shoulder, according to the human body structure, where there is a scapula in the back and a clavicle in the front, which is called the shoulder. That is, there are three in order, front, middle, and back on the right, and the same on the left. Therefore, in the tantric commentaries, the first two are called east, the last two are called west, and the middle two are called right and left. "Twelve arms" refers to the part from the shoulder joint to the elbow, which is called the arm. Two arms branch out from each shoulder, six on the left and right, for a total of twelve. Two wrists branch out from each part from the elbow joint to the middle, for a total of twenty-four wrists. In this way, on the right and left, two arms branch out from one front shoulder, and four wrists with palms, all of which are black. The same branches out from the middle shoulder, all of which are red. The same branches out from the last shoulder, all of which are white. Here, regarding the body color, some say that the body is blue and the face is black, etc. Some say that if the body is black, only the work of killing will be done. Some say that the scriptures say that the body is blue and the face is black. Some Indian texts also make the body various colors, and some Tibetan lamas also think that the body should be green. The latter two statements are not in accordance with this mandala and contradict the common saying, but no one follows them now. If we explain the difference between blue and black, in general, according to the Kalachakra system, although blue and black are different in what they do, the way of practice is also different, so there is a big difference. In other tantras, these two colors are almost considered the same. If someone says that, then from one point of view, it is also reasonable.

It is not absolutely so. In Yoga Tantra and others, Achala must be blue, and the color of a bee is not acceptable. In other tantras, there are many cases where blue and black are different. In this tantra, if it is in terms of the pervaded near-life six elements, black is mainly for eliminating and expelling the wind element, and blue is the wisdom element, which can accomplish everything, or can accomplish both elimination and nourishment. Therefore, if it is in terms of the six elements, they are very different. If it is in terms of the pervading four vajras, blue and black are the same. Therefore, in the case of body color, it is said, "The body is blue," that is, the body itself is said to be blue, and in the case of hands and fingers, etc., it is said to be black, and in many other places it is said to be dark blue, all of which mean the same thing. Also, it is said, "The eastern face is black, biting its teeth, and fierce." If you think that it is not blue because it needs to be the method of the yellow mother of various colors, then here it is considered that blue and black are one, so all of those are the same. Furthermore, the east of Mount Meru is said to be the nature of Indra-nila for the meaning of black, which is also said in terms of blue and black being one. Indra-nila gems are blue, and will never be the color of ink. The east of Mount Meru is also made black as a symbol of the wind element, not the blue of the wisdom element. If it were blue, it should belong to the color of the center or the bottom, and should not belong to the east. It can also be known from the lunar power of other directions. Therefore, the body, face, arms, shoulders, etc., which are the main parts of the body, are said to be blue and black. If it is blue, they are the same blue, and if it is black, they are the same black, not different colors. The Great Commentary says, "In the case of body color, the dharma of white and black is the moon, and the dharma of red and yellow is the sun." Therefore, from the dharma of the moon, the father's body color is black, and the mind is vajra, completely pure; from the dharma of the sun, the mother's body color is yellow, symbolizing wisdom vajra. It is not the yellow and black that symbolize wind and earth. That word is also from the sun and moon of Abhisambodhi, in terms of primary and secondary, the way in which the father and mother of the Buddhas appear separately. Therefore, even if the body color is blue, it is a symbol of the mind, and it is the wisdom of the pervaded near-life.
