It is never possible for that body to take up weapons and enter the battlefield, to kill the wicked. Therefore, the actual wisdom of the Buddha has never become a field of training for sentient beings. Transforming into a prostitute and the dispassionate teaching of the Dharma are both the same in showing methods, but they are not the same entity. Transforming into an Arhat and a military officer are similar in only showing methods, but they are not the same thing. Similarly, here too, those who have abandoned the residue of the aggregates and those who have not abandoned the residue of the Lord of Death and afflictions, although it may be permissible for them to show the same method, you should understand that it does not conform to the single pure form of the deity to be meditated upon. Furthermore, most of the later commentators on the generation stage of the Kalachakra, although they have the reputation of being very wise, the common fault that exists in all of them is that they do not distinguish between the actual reality and the mental cultivation of the generation stage, and there are many meaningless debates made without understanding the Buddhist terminology. If you understand what is said here, the darkness will be dispelled. Why is that? The mental cultivation that does not obtain clarity in the generation stage is only a mixture of appearance and general meaning. For one individual, at one time, the deities of the mandala that appear clearly also have no distinction between good and bad dispositions, because everything is contained by the practitioner's own mind. These are only the forms of the objects of meditation that appear in the yogi's own mind through samadhi, so in terms of the actual reality, they are neither Buddhas nor Bodhisattvas. Nor are they transcendent, because they are reflections of the minds of those in samsara. 3-87 Nor should they be called worldly gods, because they do not have separate continuums that are held by others, so the yogi's own mind appearance should not be given the name of worldly gods, and also, the scriptures all say that they are the objects of purification, and those similar to these are not established as defiled things or actual worldly things. For the time being, within the scope of conventional truth, until the common great accomplishment or the supreme accomplishment is attained, the practitioner himself is not established as the deity, wisdom.

the gods of and the worldly gods. All these designations are applied to lineages other than the practitioner himself. If one attains the great common accomplishment, then the practitioner himself becomes the deity of mantra. Although his own nature has not transcended samsara and is worldly, he is not called a worldly deity because the reasons are the same as previously stated. When the supreme accomplishment is attained, that yogi is the deity of wisdom. Although there are both trainees and non-trainees, even trainees can emanate infinite mandalas from one wisdom. Furthermore, when it is said that the mandala is merely a manifestation of the mind, some may think like this: because the theory of the negation of external objects asserts that all appearances do not go beyond one's own mind, it is not necessary to have something that is not a manifestation of one's own mind in order to become a worldly deity. However, what is explained here must conform to the worldly conventional truth, and it is not necessary to conform to the theory of the negation of external objects, etc., which seeks to investigate meaning. In general, if one conforms to that theory, the so-called worldly deity will not be established, so how could one become that? Furthermore, although there is never any difference in the mandala of the deity of ultimate wisdom, because it is all-encompassing, one cannot absolutely determine the number, size, dimensions, and seed syllables. However, in the wheel of the mandala of the conventional form body, various manifestations of one wisdom are also shown. It is also possible to designate different lineages by following previous bodies. Because the main Buddha also has retinue disciples and ordinary beings, there are also assemblies of deities from different lineages, so it is not necessarily all one lineage. Therefore, some say that if it is an assembly of deities from one secret mantra mandala, it must be pervaded by only one lineage. This is merely a manifestation of foolishness and narrow-mindedness, shouting loudly without knowing the reasons and distinctions, and without understanding. Furthermore, if one considers only the unsurpassable yoga, when the teacher previously taught the tantras, in which mandala were the disciples who were to be specifically tamed initiated?
