I, the vidyadhara, From this time onwards, Until the essence of enlightenment, Just as the protectors of the three times, Who have determined enlightenment, The unsurpassed bodhicitta, I will generate the sacred mind. The training of discipline, And the accumulation of virtuous dharmas, The three vows that benefit sentient beings, I will firmly uphold each one. Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, The unsurpassed Three Jewels, The vows born from Buddha yoga, I will firmly uphold from now on. In the great supreme Vajra family, The vajra, bell, and mudra also, I will truly uphold. I will also uphold the teachers. In the great supreme Ratna family, The pleasing vows, Each day, six times, I will always give the four kinds of generosity. Born from the great enlightenment, In the pure great Padma family, The outer, inner, and secret three vehicles, I will uphold all the sacred Dharma. In the great supreme Karma family, The one who possesses all the vows, I will truly uphold. I will also do my best in the work of offering. The unsurpassed supreme bodhicitta, After I have generated the sacred mind, For the sake of all sentient beings, I will uphold all the vows. I will liberate those who have not been liberated, I will free those who have not been freed, I will give breath to those who have not breathed, And establish sentient beings in nirvana. Thus, reciting three times, one takes the vows of the five families. Fearing the inexhaustible cycle of existence, I especially take refuge in the Buddhas from this day forward. Your lotus feet are truly purified in body, speech, and mind, taking away the fear of existence. Three times. For the vajra of desire, I hold the vajra bell, mudra, and lama on my head. For the precious, I give alms, and in this wheel, I uphold the supreme vows of the Victorious Ones. For the sword, I make offerings, and clearly, in the lotus family, I also uphold the vows. For the sake of liberating sentient beings, in the family that generates the Victorious Ones, I generate bodhicitta. On the forehead, on the lunar mandala, oṃ. Etc., arrange as before. oṃ āḥ hūṃ taste the nectar. Invite all the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, wrathful lords, and consorts, and let them dissolve into your heart. oṃ āḥ ra ra ra ra la la la la vajra āveśaya hūṃ. In this way, with the sound of music, bring down wisdom. oṃ āḥ hūṃ hoḥ haṃ kṣaḥ Abandon harm and untruth, other women, other people's wealth and alcoholic drinks, just like that. In samsara, the vajra lasso, these are the five sins that destroy one's own virtues. Whatever deity or human guru appears at whatever time, give generously in that name. With this command of various lords, destroy the fear of existence, and you too should uphold it. Food with faults and bad words, reading and the dharma of spirits, asuras, and lords. The five things that should not be done are killing cows, children, women, men, and the gurus of gods and humans. Also, do not be hostile to friends, lords, gods, human gurus, sangha, and trusted ones. All the senses are attached from all directions, so these are the twenty-five practices of the lord of existence. Say this once.
