Also, following the words of the previous madman Kunlekpa, saying that the Mahamudra and Kamalashila traditions are the same, and demoting many kings to commoners, it is not surprising that it is the same as the Kashmiri tradition. It is also impossible to prove that they are the same. It would be too much to write those things here. At this time, Lingtod Zhabdrung from Sangpu, because he trusted me, entrusted the Dewachen monastery of Nyetang (Nyetang Monastery, located in Qushui County, Lhasa) and its monastic estates to me. He did so according to the request that he himself must manage it while Zhabdrung himself is alive. The Desi also gave support and confirmation. This Lingtod Rinpoche is from Dratsa Thupten Namgyalwa. Although I have never met him, he became an unacquainted friend. Many monks and friends who had previous connections with him have become degenerate. If they are not removed, there is little difference between me just shouting and walking. They do not accept the views they themselves have said, and only speak the words of other people's Dharma. When they get fame, profit, and food, they gather and follow, saying they are disciples. When they need to take on bad things and face difficulties, they do not come. It is better if those Geshes who pray to the Dharma itself, have faith in others, have attachment to meditation on others, and have lust for others, do not come. The words of the former Kagyu masters say that, in general, a disciple who does not uphold the lineage is not as good as a beggar disciple who upholds and understands the lineage, even if there are thousands of great people. One uncommon thing is better than a hundred common things. If it is certain that one can uphold the lineage, even if there is only one, it is worth protecting the Sangha for that one. These are all thoughtful and logical talks of the great meditators of the Kagyu lineage. I remember that those who received countless Dharma favors from Kagyu Dromo, although they seemed to believe in it verbally, were only attached to other traditions in their hearts. They do not say a good word, let alone wealth, for the monasteries of Jetsun himself or the monasteries of the great disciples of the uncommon Sangha. We have also gained some understanding of this. At this time, writing

Ga Instructed Mar Khenpo on the practice lineage. In Desi (the head of government), as before, there were many scattered empowerments, commands, and blessings. In particular, in order for the monks of Tharpa to receive the empowerment of the glorious Kalachakra, the Desi also issued an order. First, the Desi himself listened to the complete empowerment. Then, all the liberators, some officials, etc., and some other people were added, about two hundred people, and a grand Kalachakra empowerment was held. The Ashtasahasrika Prajnaparamita Sutra was recited a hundred times, and the Kanjur was translated about three times. For the offerings including many thangkas, consecration was also performed on the mandala. The reincarnation of Jagpa Tulku Kunga Tashi was also recognized. From the time he entered the Buddhist gate, he has been going to Yartagten. That year, when the Mongol Thubpa Thalchi arrived in Lhasa, many Mongol tribesmen came to see him. It is said that there were two Tongkor Chojes. One of them had a close attendant named Wonpo, who also came to see me. Our own monks went to Mongolia, named Sonam Wangchuk, and a Jonangpa Khampa monk also arrived. Both this year and the previous year, three Sertshog Nyima were held. At that time, although the Sertshog was not a fixed ritual, it was said that in order to dispel the harm of Ralungpa, we must perform the dispelling practice, and specially instructed Rabtenpa and others to recite the scriptures. I wondered in my heart, what is the need for this? I also asked, is the curse of Ralungpa really that powerful? At this time, when I was about to go to Yarong, I was preparing to hold a practice offering to offer the blessings of Vajrayogini Mind-Holder Tsenma, but the Sindura mandala collapsed, as if it had been washed away by the inner offering. Initially, something similar happened to Mentang Lobsangpa, as if only a little storm appeared, and I think this is also a bit like that. The road to Yarong also detoured to the north. From Bonpo Chaltang to Kharu, an unbearable storm occurred. That night, Kham was also uneasy, and that omen appeared immediately. After that, I stayed in Tagten for about three days, and went to the Great Retreat in the first half of December.
