Then, Regarding the benefits of offering to the noble lamas, yidams, and dharma protectors of the སྐྱེས་གདོག (transliteration) area, I have also developed great faith in this. The powerful deities are also constantly watching over us. The saying, "Do not expect too much from people, pray to the gods," also sounds like a very true statement. I also think that we can become the adornment of the monastery. In the Dragon Year (a certain year), the western direction of the monastery was named "Victory Garden," and the trees planted between the north in the Horse and Sheep years, and the east in the Monkey year, were left unattended like ownerless objects, but they grew well. Previously, there were only a few sprouts, but in the Dragon Year (a certain year) alone, the sprouts spread very widely. This is also an auspicious sign that pleases the gods and nagas. Also, there are still many great beings in this snowy land now, and they also possess the boundless treasures accumulated from the past. People like us, the wealth that can be obtained in a lifetime, is sometimes obtained day by day and month by month. In the three regions of Ü-Tsang-Kham, there are so many subjects, dzongs, and estates, and there are also countless monks and laypeople, men and women, who have sectarian biases. In the end, it is the three kinds of merit, the three studies of hearing, thinking, and meditation, and the activities of maturing and liberating oneself and others. If it is only a loud noise like the thunder in autumn, people like us are not particularly fond of treasures! Also, saying that one is doing a little bit of good deeds, they take this as an excuse to collect taxes from the employed subordinates, collect "Sherga" (Tibetan, a kind of tax), and offer and collect from or beg from various people, related or unrelated, large or small, monastic or lay, such as monks and patrons, or in the name of encouraging virtue, they seek profit by coercion, flattery, and acquisition, and measure by what they obtain. It seems that there are many things that use various methods to accumulate the wealth of others. However, I have not done such things, but have used the natural enjoyment for virtuous deeds, without the intention of accumulating. Although we are small in capacity, we have achieved considerable accomplishments. I am not arrogant about this, nor do I regret having done so many difficult and arduous things. Now give this to others.

Giving up the thought of being unable to do it, And not even thinking of hiding like a corpse. Where is the sharp edge of competing with others? 1-383 If one can create even a small connection of virtue for oneself or those connected, It feels slightly better. In general, rather than a hundred merits of engaging in activities, one merit of hearing and contemplating with pure discipline is better. Rather than a hundred of those, one merit of keeping in mind the meaning of the Four Noble Truths, emptiness, and bodhicitta is delightful. Because I have gained certainty about this meaning, that is also the reason why I do not become arrogant. However, nowadays, pure discipline and meditative contemplation are rarer than stars in the daytime! Therefore, the reason for mainly engaging in activities lies there. Although the intention of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas is solely to place sentient beings in temporary and ultimate happiness, to benefit sentient beings requires a way of benefiting. It is not called benefiting others to deceive ignorant people in the guise of ordained monks, and to give offerings of faith as bribes, and to engage in gatherings for consuming bad alcohol. It is not called benefiting others. It is not called benefiting sentient beings. Rather, it is oneself and the object of giving, both holding hands and jumping into the abyss of the lower realms. If there is someone like a knowledgeable practitioner, it is still better than not having one. If there is someone like a knowledgeable worldly person, it is still better than not having one. Now, in this degenerate age, it is not easy for even just a knowledgeable person to appear. May all directions become a realm of great bliss, Svāhā. (Tibetan: སྭཱཧཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्वाहा, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: well said). Having understood in this way, we have also put it into practice, and we have also achieved the goal. Because there is the saying, "One should not deceive those with faith," knowing who is a person of faith is rarer than a wish-fulfilling jewel. Not deceiving oneself and those connected is the most important thing. Now, how much of the remainder of my desired life there is, if I can spend the time by equally placing it on the true meaning, 1-384 how wonderful that would be, that is what I have in mind. Although it is difficult to accomplish by being immersed in the eight worldly concerns, from lifetime to lifetime, from one eon to countless eons, having faith in the supreme Mahayana Dharma, and the armor of engaging in inseparable, perfect conduct.
