People also came to deliver offerings of tea and offerings from Saba. After that, the Kalachakra teachings were conducted as usual. Lacham Chöbum from Tingkye also worked hard during this time. Although many new teachings emerged during these two teaching sessions in the Year of the Rooster and the Year of the Dog, the teaching year was not very good. After the teachings were over, monastic taxes were levied on the more intelligent descendants of the Jonang Chölung monasteries. More than seventy newly ordained monks were tonsured. They began to learn to recite and other minor things. After that, they entered retreat at Labrang Damchöling. After about a month, because the governor of Döljung had passed away, they were not summoned. As they were about to head to Central Tibet, painters from Ü-Tsang arrived and made some corresponding arrangements. Two newly made offerings of tea and auspicious banners were offered to the monastic community. An awning made of one hundred pieces of cloth was offered, which could completely cover the thirteen Dharma wheels of Kumbum Monastery, as well as a nearly complete set of thirteen tantric thangkas and Vajramala mandala thangkas. A fine set of Sixteen Arhat thangkas. And a large copper horn, all of which were offered as public property. They set out on the twenty-ninth day of the second month of the Tibetan calendar. On the second day of the third month, they arrived in Döljung. All the procedures of the funeral rites were completed, as well as the bathing rites, burning of documents, and all other matters. That governor was an extraordinary and devout patron, so he did his best from the bottom of his heart. It was at the time when the troops preparing to go from Tsang to Ü-Tsang were preparing, and the officials were going to Norchung, so they went a little bit, as if they had not been summoned. They stayed one night at Southern Luding. The Desi Shabdrung himself gave many long-life empowerments and subsequent permissions to remove obstacles, and the various officials also requested long-life empowerments and subsequent permissions. The removal of obstacles for the officials and others also showed auspicious signs. Even if no one persuades or entrusts, I hope to do something that does not harm the country and the Buddhist teachings. There was a strong request to find a way to avoid directly joining the central army, and if there was no other way, he would have to lead the troops himself.

Even when heading east, there is absolutely no way to avoid causing some harm to all monasteries, large and small. I also earnestly requested that as much care as possible be given to all superiors and subordinates. Therefore, the monasteries did not suffer any damage from the rotating army at that time. Afterwards, after leaving the residence of 'Dol byung, I stayed in Lhading in Lhasa for two days. I did a little bit of the subsequent permission of Nodjin Sha'on and the market empowerment, etc. The investigation report of the reincarnation of Kazi Rinpoche also arrived, but it was not possible to determine it at this time. Again, in order to offer bathing and long life empowerment to the residents of 'Dol byung, I stayed for about five days. After that, I arrived at Samding and did a retreat for about eleven days. Walking in 'Dol byung and Lhading, etc., there were some signs of confusion, and the body was not very comfortable. On the third day of the fourth Hor month, I set out from Samding, intending to go to the pass of Gongzin, but due to the appearance of the Lha 'phreng, it snowed that night, and the next day the pass was impassable, so I went to the government, which coincided with the situation of hanging flags on the slope of Lhun grub rtse, saying that there was wonderful talk there. I went from one monastery to another, feeling that the connection was good, and also good for the patrons. I stayed one day each between Khangzhi and Gedhing. Then I set out for Namzi, and it snowed heavily. In a mood of feeling that the village scenery was changing, I arrived at Jonang in the early morning. The people living there had no idea when we would arrive, but they were greeted at the door. The painters mainly started the sketch of the Kalachakra, and the coloring of the two Buddha incarnations, and the sketch of Hevajra and Chakrasamvara, but nothing else was completed. After that, I did a retreat for a few days. After the retreat, on the fifteenth of Saga Dawa, the practice groups arranged to make Tsa Tsas. Initially, it seems that there used to be something called Ge Tsha, but it was cut off by the previous Je Drung. Is this the connection to re-establish it? On that day, the sky was clear and the sun was shining, and on both sides of Nacha, especially above the upper part of the saddle and directly above the Gapo of Chujang, and above the top of Nagsgyal, there appeared three summer rainbows that were not rainbow clouds, with the same curved shape, lasting for a long time.
