The happiness of sentient beings depends on the Buddha's teachings. This, in turn, depends on the flourishing of monasteries and places of study and practice. This saying, even from the mouths of newborn babies, is, "May the Buddha's teachings flourish! May the status of the Three Jewels be elevated!" It's just lip service and prayers to the Dharma protectors. Everyone does this, whether monastic or lay, wise or foolish, virtuous or non-virtuous. In reality, those with intelligence and those who aspire to be wise do not wish for the teachings to flourish. They prefer more people to be soldiers and pay taxes than to be monks. They do not wish for the status of the Three Jewels to be elevated; they do not want monks to have great power. They want bad people to have strong influence. What does it mean for the Three Jewels to have elevated status? It needs to be investigated. Most of those with the title of Geshe are also like this. Their attachment to the Guru and the Buddha is replaced by a local official. Their attachment to the three trainings of hearing, contemplation, and meditation is replaced by evil thoughts, harsh actions, and harsh words. Their attachment to the Sangha is replaced by relatives or close, bad men and women. 1-249 In the past, King Ashoka offered his kingdom to the Sangha, and King Tri Relpachen offered the first gate to the Sangha, the second was the king, and the third was the minister. Saying this was not the rambling of a crazy old man. Cutting off the wealth of the Three Jewels and changing it for the food, clothing, and children of ordinary people doesn't even have the name of benefiting sentient beings. All, wise and foolish, do not understand. Tibetan intellectuals, if you pursue the ultimate definition of the benefit of sentient beings, you define it as accumulating grain in the village. Isn't that so? Heh heh. When Lama Atisha used thirteen million people to build a temple, all the workers cursed and reviled him. His actions were definitely not sinful, nor were they inappropriate, but very great. The great accomplished Changchub Gyaltsen, fearing opposition from the local people, did not cut down secular trees, but dismantled all the old temples and used them to cover the Dzong (fortress), and no one said it was inappropriate and criticized him. The people of the world were disappointed, thinking that his actions were definitely not Dharma. The entire country.

Everything was sent to hell. Now, for example, for the sake of virtuous deeds, even if one bre of barley is collected from each village, they complain that it is not enough and utter cries of suffering. Therefore, even if all the remaining possessions are collected and used for virtuous deeds, not only is there no sin, but the benefits will greatly increase. Melting down golden books to make gold, melting down golden statues to make copper statues, melting down silver statues to buy tea, dismantling golden bowls to buy needles. Even if these things are given to or sold to the foolish villagers, they will return happily with smiles. Not only is there no merit in this, but isn't it placing oneself and others in the sin of molten copper in hell? However, since we are people of this life, we feel that such principles cannot be understood. The foolish fools are certainly true, but do not be arrogant and think that you are wise and knowledgeable. In general, these monks also like those who do such things, and seem to be unaware of the immediate consequences. I used to aspire to a life of solitude, seeking peace, non-attachment, and renouncing craving, and I have always been careful and cautious, fearing to be the cause of others' evil deeds. If one does not need to seek outward or bear inward alone, then that is naturally good. However, if one must rely on the wheel of action to bear the burden of the Dharma, then one must use one's own wisdom to judge what should be done and what should not be done, and for what should be done, one should not hesitate to do it, and not worry about others' displeasure or gossip. As it is said, "Even if it is suffering, do what is beneficial; both benefit and happiness should be done; even if it is happiness, if it is not beneficial, it should not be done." In this way, one will not deviate from the key points of the Mahayana path. Appearing harsh and stern to others is also one way of doing altruistic work. The scriptures also say, "For the sake of offering, one can plunder the wealth of kings and the rich." And as Vajra Secret says, "If one kills all sentient beings, one will be born as the son of the Buddhas in the pure lands of Akshobhya Buddha." Isn't that what it says? (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning)} That's it, it's all just empty talk. If it doesn't suit your mind, please forgive me. If you forgive, it is the one who forgives who is happy. For me, there is no difference between forgiving and not forgiving.
