Then, joining palms, he supplicated before the Buddha, saying thus. That is the end. Next is the supplicant, who has the form of a wrathful deity, doing the deeds of all the Buddhas, is the protector and refuge of all beings to be subdued, namely Vajrapani (Vajrapani). Together with the other retinue who bowed with respectful posture, to the Sugata (Tathagata), who subdued the four maras at night, endowed with six qualities, transcended the world, perfected in the Dharmakaya (Dharmakaya), awakened ignorance, increased wisdom, reached the ultimate in abandonment and realization. After that, joining palms. Abiding before the Teacher. The second part is the actual supplication, which is divided into two parts: supplicating for the reason for speaking and supplicating for the content to be spoken. The first part has three aspects: supplicating for oneself, supplicating for sentient beings, and supplicating to the Bhagavan (Bhagavan). First is supplicating for oneself, which is to supplicate thus: 'All-pervading Lord (Khyabdag), please have mercy on me, for my benefit, because of your compassion for me, please ensure that I obtain the perfect Bodhi (Byang chub) that is perfected by the net of illusion (Sgyu 'phrul drwa ba).' That is the end. The supplicant, for the benefit of himself and others, supplicates by uttering the name of the ultimate truth, saying thus: 'Ah! O Self-nature that pervades all that is stable and moving like the sky,' after calling out thus, for the benefit of Vajrapani (Vajrapani), for my ultimate benefit, for the compassion of the Teacher, please bless and speak of how I can obtain the perfect Bodhi (Byang chub) that is perfected by the net of illusion, like illusion and magic, namely the body of ultimate truth wisdom. Second is supplicating for sentient beings: 'Because afflictions disturb the mind, sinking into the mire of ignorance, for the benefit of all sentient beings, in order to obtain the unsurpassed fruit.' That is the end. To supplicate for speaking for the benefit of others: 'Because the afflictive obscurations of sentient beings disturb the mind, because the obscurations of knowable objects of ignorance (ignorance) sink into the mire, in order to temporarily benefit all sentient beings, and by practicing this Dharma, ultimately obtain the unsurpassed fruit, please speak of this pure body of ultimate truth wisdom, this perfect path.' Third is supplicating to the Bhagavan (Bhagavan): 'Perfectly enlightened Bhagavan (Bhagavan), the teacher of beings, possessing great samaya (dam tshig che)' -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ན་

‘You fully know that wisdom. Supreme one with excellent power and thought.’ This is (the invocation). Therefore, to the Buddha Bhagavan (Bhagavan, The Blessed One) who perfectly possesses all the qualities of Dharmakaya (Dharmakaya, the Body of Truth) as infinite as space, and together with the gods, is the guide of beings, the one who excellently teaches the Dharma of the two truths, calling upon the name of qualities, and requesting: The vows of all Buddhas, and the essential bindu (bindu, essence) of ultimate truth, even one of the four great Mahayana (Thegchen, Great Vehicle), is great because it fills the sky, you know that body with wisdom, please speak that wisdom. Please explain well in the form of singing praises, in a way that is suitable for those to be tamed, with superior, middling, and inferior faculties, and according to their wishes, mental habits, and latent tendencies. Next is the request to explain what is to be spoken, which has six aspects: requesting to speak what is to be spoken; requesting to speak that which is spoken by the Buddhas of the three times; requesting to explain from which Tantra (Gyud) it is sung in the form of singing; requesting that I firmly grasp what is said; requesting to teach what is said to sentient beings; thus requesting and prostrating, and then sitting before the Buddha. First is the request to speak what is to be spoken: ‘The wisdom body of the Bhagavan, the great crown protuberance, the lord of speech, the wisdom body, the self-born, Manjushri wisdom sattva (Sattva, being), named the supreme of true speech, the meaning is profound, the meaning is vast, the meaning is great, incomparable, completely peaceful, good in the beginning, middle, and end.’ Therefore, for all the wisdom bodies of the Buddhas Bhagavan, you are the supreme and unparalleled crown protuberance, you are the master of the ultimate truth speech as great as the sky, the essence of the Sambhogakaya (Sambhogakaya, Body of Enjoyment) Buddhas, the wisdom body, without the cause and conditions that produce it, from the beginning, it is free from the three characteristics of arising, ceasing, and abiding, abiding in the essence of self-born wisdom, more self-born than the sky. You are Manjushri wisdom sattva, and that is also your name. Speaking without inversion is also the supreme among all true speech. By praising the name, in the conventional truth, the past, present, and future three times are always present, the meaning is profound; in the ultimate truth, the past, present, and future three times are equally one taste, realizing its meaning is vast; the meaning is great, incomparable to anything, completely peaceful, because it is the source of faith, joy, and wisdom in the three times of hearing, thinking, and meditating. Therefore, in order, the beginning, middle, and end are all good. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
