Om Guru Om! Kings and deities, etc., Va Sham Kuru Hum! Sanskrit Romanization: vaśaṃ kuru hoḥ,Literal meaning: Make them obedient Hum!) A Karshaya JAH! Sanskrit Romanization: ākarṣaya jaḥ,Literal meaning: Attract JAH!) These are about controlling and attracting. For intense delusion and stiffness, recite 'So-and-so's mind Moha Ya,' and the body stiffens Ya Hum Hum! For killing and expelling, recite 'Mara Ya' and 'Uchchata Ya Phat! Etc., should be applied and understood according to the specific situation, and expressed in Sanskrit. In terms of color, for the furnace and combustibles, etc., among all colors, white represents pacifying, red represents magnetizing, black represents subjugating, and fire represents increasing, which are the colors for the four activities, corresponding to white paint, saffron, rouge, and coal, respectively. The second point is: 'Others are the yogi's vajra bell, as well as pouring, combustibles, and offerings, etc.' The yogi refers to: if it is not related to the front generation, practice, and offering, then conduct the rituals for checking, selecting, and purifying the location of the furnace, as well as the self-generation with a protection wheel, whether it is elaborate or concise. If it is related, then invite the deity to the furnace with flowers. Both need to prepare combustibles, offerings, the furnace, and utensils, sit down and pick up the vajra bell, bless the utensils, light the fire, generate the furnace, fire, and fire god. Invite the wisdom being, offer with four waters, then reside and make them happy, bless the food with the tongue and pouring ladle, and then offer the food or combustibles. After offering with four waters and the five senses, completely offer the combustibles, transform the fire god into a flaming form, or place the flame of the furnace at the edge of the flame, or in the heart of the fire god himself. If the deceased is not related to the mandala, then regenerate, if it is related, then invite and clarify, practice like treating the fire god, after completion, offer again, praise, offer clothes and food, ask for forgiveness and pray, and then send them away. Then, invite the fire god into the furnace or clarify it, and do the same. These are the fundamentals, and there is no difference in the four activities. In the practice of the upper masters, the Sakya school offers kusha grass at the end of the fire god's combustibles. Others offer it immediately after lighting the fire. Some use the mantras of their respective main deities to offer combustibles to the deceased, some use the mantra of the fire god, and some use both. Regarding combustibles, most Indian texts mention 'ghee, sesame, yogurt, and grains' in the addition of firewood, etc., but do not specify in detail. However, in the compilation of tantras, it is mentioned: 'All the wealth of ghee can be offered, the glory of the firewood will increase, and the firewood will be more courageous.'

Kusha protects all. Yungkar pacifies obstacles. Rice is said to bring prosperity. Sesame is known to destroy sins. Millet attracts wealth and grains. Beans bring great strength. Barley greatly enhances the power of wind. Durva increases life. Wheat destroys diseases. Milk and honey increase wisdom. Excellent food gives all happiness. Fire gives desired objects and accomplishments. The desired deity grants liberation. The remainder makes actions harmonious. Know that peaceful and other actions have been done. It is said. Although it seems that the early Tibetans followed the order of the Tantric words, according to the mDo sNyer, wood, butter, sesame, durva grass, unhusked rice, yogurt, kusha grass, yungkar, millet, barley, beans, wheat, flowers, and various fruits should be offered as is the custom of the later Tibetans. In all the Tantras and Indian treatises, it is said that the offerings and burnt offerings should each be blessed one hundred and eight times with their respective mantras, but now they are only recited at the time of offering. Other offerings can also be accomplished in this way, but there is a defect of having fewer mantras for the four blessings of water, etc. It is also agreed that the four waters (drinking water, bathing water, foot washing water, and perfumed water) should be offered to the wisdom deity before pouring, and after pouring, the four offerings should be offered to the four complete branches. At the time of pouring, it is common to offer only the water for drinking and bathing, or three offerings without foot washing water. Offering sang and torma (bsang gtor) at the beginning is related to the occasion. These are common to the four types of activities, and the common need is: for peaceful activities, the burnt offerings are on the right, the offerings or water offerings are on the left, and the hands are placed inside the knees; violent activities are the opposite. As the sambuti says: 'The burnt offerings should be placed on the right, the containers for the four waters on the left, and the container for butter in front.' It also says: 'Place the elbows between the knees, scoop butter with the pouring spoon, and burn with the measuring spoon.' Thus it is said. The mDo sNyer and others also say the same. It is not clear whether flowers and other things are on the right or left, and it is said in yoga that they should be placed among the burnt offerings, but it should be done as most of the old and new lamas do, placing them on the left. For violent activities, everything should be reversed. The fist mudras for holding the pouring spoon are: 'The supreme bodhi and the wish-fulfilling jewel, the lotus and the dakini fist mudras.' The krīyāsamuccaya says: 'For peaceful, increasing, and other activities, the measuring spoon should be held with the four fist mudras of supreme bodhi, wish-fulfilling jewel, lotus, and dakini.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
