Adorned with a vajra jeweled necklace, celestial robes, and flower garlands. Solemnly adorned with a wonderful jeweled body, seated on a lotus throne with a moon disc halo. English version The dignified body emits subtle radiance, manifesting the appearance of a celestial being to save the world. The Buddha's form at the North Gate. Possessing forty-eight kinds of purple-golden light, it is the majestic form of Shakyamuni (牟尼, Muni, Buddha), the Well-Gone One (善逝, Sugata). The left hand in the meditation mudra rests on the knee, the right hand in the wisdom mudra gestures teaching. The body emits light like a conch shell (颇胝商佉, Sphatika shankha), residing upon a lotus (颇头摩花, Padma). To the northeast is Vajradipa Bodhisattva (金刚灯菩萨, Vajradipa Bodhisattva). Wearing a great jeweled crown on the head, the body appears fresh flesh-colored. Holding a lamp in the meditation and wisdom mudras, the adornments of the body are as described above.
