Without stain, beautiful, petals and water drops worthy of praise, in the midst of those lotuses of unpleasant color, those bodies dwell like precious jewels, for what reason are these miracles displayed? I have seen in the past Buddhas as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, and I have seen their extraordinary miracles, but among them, such a wondrous manifestation as today, I have never seen before. O Two-legged One, master of gods and humans, may the god of gods reveal what this miracle is. Please explain what its cause and condition are. Please, compassionate teacher, who works for the benefit of the world, speak, please cut off the doubts of all sentient beings.' Thus he requested.
