Summarizing the meaning. There are three ways to practice with the ultimate truth: reversing the antidote of anger, abandoning the unreasonable, and summarizing the meaning. The first has three aspects: because it arises from involuntary causes, one should not be angry; preventing transformation into autonomy, summarizing these meanings. The second, for harm, there is forbearance that does not take it seriously, there are five: because it is the object of compassion, one should not be angry; observing the nature and cause, one should not be angry; arising from one's own faults, one should be patient; applying benefits, one should not be angry; abandoning disputes. The third, for the forbearance of necessarily thinking about the Dharma, there are five: because it harms oneself, one should not be angry; because it abides in pleasing places such as spiritual friends, one should not be angry; observing the harmer and reversing anger; applying benefits to the enemy and reversing anger; reversing anger towards obstacles to desire. The first has three aspects: because there is no self-harm, one should not be angry; because there is no obstacle to gain, one should not be angry; abandoning disputes about this. The second has two aspects: because one is not faithful, it is not right to be angry; advising to abandon wrong livelihood. The second has two aspects: because there is no harm to the object of offering, one should not be angry; because there is no harm to the spiritual friend, one should not be angry. The third has six aspects: thinking about the nature of things, one should not be angry; jointly preventing anger towards both; preventing anger by thinking about the way of the self; how to accomplish the way of the self; inferring from such suffering and preventing anger; reversing anger by accomplishing great benefit. The fourth, applying benefits to the enemy and reversing anger has five aspects: praising the virtues of others, one should be happy; enduring the happiness brought by praising others; because it violates vows, one should not be angry; because there is no benefit to oneself, one should not be angry; because one fears the exhaustion of merit, one should be patient. The fifth, reversing anger towards obstacles to desire has six aspects: harming the enemy does not benefit oneself; praising fame does not benefit oneself; showing that preventing praise etc. is applying benefits; preventing anger towards obstacles to merit; establishing the harmer as an object of respect; showing that sentient beings should be pleased. The second has three aspects: because there is no self-interest, it is not something to be accomplished; accomplishing it is like the behavior of children; after observing, it is not appropriate to be happy. The third has two aspects: showing that preventing bad destinies is applying benefits; showing that accomplishing liberation is applying benefits. The fourth has three aspects: if one is angry about this, one is an obstacle to oneself; because it is the cause of merit, it should not be an obstacle; proving it with examples of giving etc. The fifth has two aspects: accomplishing the sign of respect; abandoning disputes about this.
