Holding the bell and vajra crossed at the heart. Visualize the red Vajravarahi (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་ཕག་མོ་, Dorje Phagmo; Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्रवाराही, Vajravārāhī; Sanskrit Romanization: Vajravārāhī, Diamond Sow), holding a curved knife and skull cup, focusing on the cycle of existence. Think: 'This is an illusion, this is a dream.' Eventually, the deity dissolves into the consort, the consort dissolves into light, and falls asleep in a non-conceptual state, dreaming. The second way to hold non-conceptuality is to declare that the nature of reality, which is inherently pure, is the only way for those to be tamed to purify temporary defilements. Visualize oneself clearly as Chakrasamvara (Tibetan: འཁོར་ལོ་སྡོམ་པ་, Khorlo Dempa; Sanskrit Devanagari: चक्रसंवर, cakrasaṃvara; Sanskrit Romanization: cakrasaṃvara, Wheel of Bliss), on a lotus and moon disc in the heart, fully manifesting Chakrasamvara, radiating light. Think: 'I have fallen asleep, this is in a dream.' As you fall asleep, dissolve yourself into the Chakrasamvara in your heart, which also dissolves into light, dreaming in a state of non-objectification. The third way to hold with conceptuality is to keep the dream body in a squatting posture. The time is at dawn, before the sun rises. The cause of the dream is the seed syllable ཧཾ (Tibetan: ཧཾ; Sanskrit Devanagari: हं; Sanskrit Romanization: haṃ; Meaning: हं). The place of the dream is the throat. Therefore, visualize a white ཧཾ (Tibetan: ཧཾ; Sanskrit Devanagari: हं; Sanskrit Romanization: haṃ; Meaning: हं) syllable radiating light in your throat. The nature of the dream is the state of awareness between sleeping and not sleeping. Therefore, between falling asleep and the appearance of a coarse dream, hold in mind the vague thoughts of people and so on that arise, without opening your eyes, and recognize 'This is in a dream,' so it is impossible not to dream. If you still cannot dream, then visualize on the brain inside the skull on the top of your head, a white Vajranairatmya (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་བདག་མེད་མ་, Dorje Dakme Ma; Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्रनैरात्म्या, vajranairātmyā; Sanskrit Romanization: vajranairātmyā, Diamond Selfless One), holding a curved knife and skull cup, as if floating in the sky. It is impossible not to dream with this. If this is done regularly, it is said to create great obstacles. Second, there are four ways to train in dreams: training the mind with the body, training the body with the mind, training with Nairatmya, and training with intention. The first is to train the mind with the body: visualize yourself as white Chakrasamvara, holding a vajra and bell. Think: 'This is in a dream, how should I train in a dream?' Then imagine being thrown into a cliff, dissolving into light. The second is to train the body with the mind: visualize a blue ཧཱུྃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ; Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं; Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ; Meaning: हुं) syllable at the eyebrow and at all the joints, visualizing oneself clearly as Chakrasamvara. With its light, train your body into a clear and empty Mahamudra deity, free from grasping. The third is to train with Nairatmya: visualize a white ཧཱུྃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ; Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं; Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ; Meaning: हुं) syllable, head facing down, inside the jewel, visualizing oneself clearly as Chakrasamvara. Focus on this, thinking 'This is a dream,' and saying ཧཱུྃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ; Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं; Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ; Meaning: हुं), causing the ཧཱུྃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ; Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं; Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ; Meaning: हुं) syllable to turn its head upwards. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then, Vajra Nairatmya (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་བདག་མེད་མ་, meaning: Vajra Selfless Mother) with a white body, holding a curved knife and a skull cup, dissolves into oneself, making a 'tri-li-li' sound, and transforms into light. The inside of the body is filled with white light, eventually disappearing and abiding in the Mahamudra. Fourth, taming with intention: Whatever coarse or subtle container and contents are seen, one should think of them as dreams, and practice letting one's body go back and forth at will. Third, increasing dreams is divided into two types: increasing encounters and increasing according to what is to be tamed. The first is to focus on the earth mandala, thinking 'this is in a dream,' and in the appearance of the dream, whatever is increased can be increased, from one to ten, from ten to a hundred, from a hundred to a thousand, from a thousand to ten thousand, from ten thousand to a hundred thousand, and so on, increasing as much as the mind can grasp, and then reversing the order, contemplating filling the entire space. After that, increase the water mandala as before. Then the fire mandala. Next, increase the wind mandala as before. Similarly, whatever subtle four elements or coarse or subtle beings are seen, one should think of them as dreams and increase them as before. The second is to increase according to what is to be tamed, which is divided into two types: worldly taming and transcendental taming. The first is to transform the opponent into something like an insect, and then transform oneself into something like a bird to eat it, thereby taming it. For something like a bird, transform oneself into something like a hawk to tame it. A dog becomes a wolf, a wolf becomes a tiger, a tiger becomes a lion, a person becomes a Rakshasa, and so on, transforming into their respective nemesis, performing acts of killing, devouring, and beating to tame them. The second is that for an opponent like a Naga, one transforms oneself into a Garuda; for something like a Begar (Tibetan: དཔེ་དཀར, meaning: a kind of spirit), one transforms oneself into Hayagriva; for Naga demons and Naga spirits, one transforms oneself into Manjushri Jñanasattva (Tibetan: འཇམ་དཔལ་ཡེ་ཤེས་སེམས་དཔའ, Sanskrit: Mañjuśrī-jñānasattva, Romanized Sanskrit: Mañjuśrī-jñānasattva, literal meaning: Manjushri Wisdom Sattva); for Yakshas and Rakshasas, one transforms oneself into Vajrapani Wrathful One (Tibetan: ཕྱག་ན་རྡོ་རྗེ་གཏུམ་པོ, meaning: Vajrapani Wrathful One), and so on, transforming into the nemesis of those demons, taming them with mantras and wrathful forms, either devouring them, or cutting them with weapons, or burning them with flames. Fourth, dream manifestation is also similar to this. Fifth, transforming dreams is to transform the earth mandala into water. Transforming the water mandala into fire, transforming the fire mandala into wind, contemplating the wind mandala disappearing into the sky, and observing its nature. This is transforming the outer container world. Transforming the inner sentient beings is to transform hell beings into pretas, to transform pretas into animals, to transform animals into humans, to transform humans into asuras. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
