Knowing that taking rebirth is suffering, now I shall attain supreme accomplishment in the pure land of Great Bliss. Thinking thus, and contemplating that all appearances of the bardo are unreal, like illusions. Pray to the lama. Then, visualize in front of oneself, within a dark blue dharma origin, one's own mind transforming into a blue Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, हूं,hūṃ,seed syllable). From that Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, हूं,hūṃ,seed syllable), rays of five-colored light emanate, purifying the habitual tendencies and defilements of the five realms, and blocking the womb entrance. Then, from that fully transformed Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, हूं,hūṃ,seed syllable), meditate on one's own mind as the yidam (deity) in union. Also, meditate on the objects of attachment and aversion in the bardo, the male and female forms, as the yidam in union, and offer worship and prayers. All sounds are mantra, all thoughts are the deity's form, and remain in equanimity in the state of Mahāmudrā for three moments. Then, all outer and inner phenomena, and one's own body, will arise as the pure appearance of the Nirmāṇakāya (emanation body), free from attachment to emptiness, and at that very moment, one will attain Buddhahood without a doubt. Common appearance, unerringly taking the path. The fourth is the outer essential, unerringly taking the path, which is the essential point of generating renunciation in the bardo for all three types of faculties: superior, middling, and inferior. Therefore, generate strong renunciation towards the bardo, and pray to the lama. Visualize the appearances of male and female forms, etc., in short, visualize oneself and others, and all outer and inner phenomena, as the yidam in union, complete with the palace. Do not forget the recollection of transformation. These are brief instructions on the oral teachings of the Six Dharmas of Niguma. In short, in this degenerate age of strife, due to the power of beings' minds being filled with wrong views, many who claim to be practitioners are like merchants who adulterate milk with water for sale, mixing the words of the superior lamas and the Buddha's teachings with their own fabrications, thereby deceiving themselves and others. Therefore, by combining the words of the superiors, the Thim Yig (secret instructions), and one's own experience, and possessing a pure view, one should endure the hardships of practicing this special instruction. If one practices with single-pointedness, from this life until the bardo, one will definitely attain Buddhahood and go to the realm of the ḍākinīs. Here, Niguma also says: 'In this degenerate age of strife, when wrong views disturb the mind, true Dharma is like a star in the daytime or the hair of a tortoise. False Dharma circulates like milk adulterated with water in the marketplace, cherish practice adorned with experience, scripture, and secret instructions. When practicing this supreme path, in other times or in the bardo, the spontaneous arising of indivisible bliss and emptiness will lead to the pure realm of the ḍākinīs.' This is a teaching with a seal. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thus it was spoken. The essential instructions of the Six Dharmas of Niguma, called 'The Quintessential Collection of Essences.' This, which is a compilation of the oral instructions of all the Lamas into one, was composed by the madman of Lungtong, emulating the realization attained at the practice chamber of White-faced Lhadong in Tharpaling. It was completely compiled on the tenth day of the seventh month of the Tiger year, at the time of the gathering of Dakinis, at the sacred site of Riwoché (Tibetan, meaning Great Mountain). The scribe was Kachuwa Lodro Gyaltsen. May realization increase more and more like the waxing moon! Mangalam! Bhavantu! The lineage of Jakmé is: Vajradhara, Niguma, the wise and accomplished Kyungpo, Rinchen Tsondru, Kyergangpa, Nyenton Spapa, Sangye Tonpa, Tsangpa Shangton, the wise and accomplished Gyaltsen Bumpa, Jakchen Jamyang Pal, Jamyang Lodro, Kunga Pal, Chogyal Tsenchen, Tsultrim Gyaltsen, Khyenrap Chöjé, Doring Kunpang Chöjé, Vajradhara Tsarpa Chöjé, Jamyang Khyentse Wangchuk, Drubchok Wangchuk Rabten, Omniscient Ngawang Chödrag, the incomparably kind Ngawang Sonam Gyaltsen, the kind root Lama Ngawang Tenpa Rabgye.
