Regarding these two systems, the former is in accordance with reality. When explaining the latter system, it would be excellent if all the scriptures of the Nyingma (rnying ma, ancient) school's Tripitaka (sde snod rnam gsum) and the Four Tantras (rgyud sde rnam bzhi) were said to be the Dharma of the Nyingma school. The non-false Terma (gter gyi chos lugs, treasure teachings) is the source of the power of blessings, and for those who have prophecies, it should be known that it is the Mind Transmission (dgongs pa'i rgyud). After the rise of the New Schools of Dharma, for those who have not misunderstood the Nyingma Dharma, the newly created treatises should also be known as the Personal Transmission (gang zag snyan brgyud). The 'Eighteen Great Tantra Sections' (tantra sde chen bcu'a brgyad po), descended from the sky, the practice of Vajradhara (rdo rje 'chang, Sanskrit: Vajradhara, the one holding the vajra) showing his true face, etc., because they are also taught in the New Schools of Dharma, there is no need to be proud of teaching Terma and Vidyadhara signs, etc. Because teaching is the main thing in this era, the Dharma of the New Schools should be accepted. For those who teach the New and Old Mantras, the difference in Vajradhara initiation (rdo rje 'chang dbang), and do not say that the incarnate Shakyamuni Buddha (sprul sku shAkya thub pa) has superior qualities, etc., should be abandoned. Thus it is said, for those who say that the Nyingma school is Dharma or non-Dharma, and that all the treatises written in Tibet are translated from India, etc., some excessively belittle, and some excessively praise, these extreme practices should be abandoned, may the attainment of Vajradhara be obtained through virtuous deeds! Shubham! All accomplished! Svasti Siddham! The three teachings widely known in the Land of Snows, the Kadampa (bka' gdams, bound by the word), the Mahamudra (phyag rgya pa) and the Sakya (sa skya pa), here the differences in the view, meditation, and conduct (lta sgom spyod pa) of these three will be explained. The first view is the tradition of Chandrakirti (zla grags), emptiness like space, negating non-affirming negation, should be understood from the 'Madhyamaka Instructions' (dbu ma'i man ngag). The conduct is what Maitreya (byams mgon thogs med) explained in the 'Ornament of the Sutras' (mdo rgyan) and 'Ornament of Clear Realization' (byang sa), taking the vows of entering the path, and studying the Six Perfections (phar phyin drug). The order of practice is to practice the view and instructions as they are. First, when observing with reason, nothing is found in any Dharma, and abiding in this state is called meditating on emptiness. Atisha (a ti sha) said that emptiness cannot be realized by direct perception or inference, which is the same as the Madhyamaka school that says that all phenomena are without inherent existence. The so-called 'Madhyamaka Instructions', 'Stages of Profound View', 'Madhyamaka View Guidance', etc., there is nothing else besides these. Although some say that Potowa's (pu to ba) contemplation is the most important, but in the combination, it is the reason born of thought that is taught, not the calm abiding. Otherwise, it would contradict Atisha's instructions and treatises. For the practice of instructions, only the Paramitas (phar phyin, six perfections) and the practice of mantra are recognized. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Furthermore, there are two views and stages of mind training. The first has been explained earlier, and the second is called mind training, which is about the meditation on the two Bodhicittas (Enlightenment minds). From Serlingpa (Golden Island Master) to Jowo (Atiśa Dīpaṃkaraśrījñāna)'s heart, and then in sequence, From ear to ear, it was passed down, and Chekhawa Yeshe Dorje wrote it down. Among them, the way to meditate on the ultimate Bodhicitta, corresponding to the practice of yoga, Is clearly stated in the root verses. The way to meditate on the conventional Bodhicitta is divided into Aspirational Bodhicitta and engaging Bodhicitta. The first can be generated through rituals, But its vows are not accepted here. If the vows of aspirational Bodhicitta are accepted, then Abandoning the mind of enlightenment contradicts the root downfall. For example, like the view of 'Entering the Bodhisattva's Way of Life'. Regarding the meditation method of mantra instructions, The secret wisdom empowerment is not accepted because of celibacy. Although it is said so, it is known as the Kadampa (one of the early schools of Tibetan Buddhism). Snatsulwa and Chennga, etc., Through the three tantras of Kriya, Charya, and Yoga, and The yoga of Guhyasamaja, are known as the instruction school. Chakyapa is known as the Kagyu (one of the schools of Tibetan Buddhism), Dawa O Zhonnu Followed the tradition of the Kadampa, And was known for establishing the banner of the practice lineage. The view, meditation, and practice of this tradition, The view to be realized is the non-dual Experience of wisdom, just awareness. Apart from this, there is no other Dharma, Therefore, it is Mahāmudrā (Great Seal), The wisdom of Dharmadhātu (Realm of Dharma), And the reality of things themselves. Experiencing it, self-knowing, that is their view. In the three stages of the base, path, and fruit to be realized, Although there is no difference, The best way to realize it is In the scriptures of Sutra and Tantra, There are many different distinctions. But the most outstanding feature is the guru's Devotion, so beginners Should strive to do that. Just from that, the wisdom of clarity and emptiness arises Uninterruptedly, By avoiding dullness and agitation to familiarize with it, That is meditation. This is called White Dharma Only (Karpo Chikthup). It is said that from this, the accumulation of merit Arises naturally. Realizing emptiness is the cause of Guiding interdependence, Because this is widely known. Therefore, they value this even more. Marpa Lotsawa (Marpa the Translator) Obtained through empowerment, practiced the generation stage and completion stage. Among them, The main one is the completion stage. Gampopa was proficient in Mahāmudrā. Phagmo Drupa first practiced Lamdre (Path and Fruit), And later became proficient in Mahāmudrā. Associated with blessings. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
