Here is a separate explanation: Dzogchen (大圆满, Great Perfection) is the pinnacle of the nine vehicles, There is no other teaching equal to it. The supreme method for realizing it is, Said to arise from one's own pith instructions. The view of Mahamudra (大手印, Great Seal), Is untouched by the three greatnesses, Surpassing all others, the method for realizing it is, Devotion to the guru. The view that completely pacifies suffering, Does not exist in Madhyamaka (中观, Middle Way), The method for realization is the guru's, Introduction to the nature of mind. The practitioners of Lamdre (道果, Path and Result), Their view does not go beyond Prajnaparamita (般若, Perfection of Wisdom). Regarding this, there are eight kinds of, Views and tenets related to empowerment and subsequent practice. The practitioner of the six branches of yoga, Summarizes all the essential points into one, Seeing the form of emptiness, This is regarded as the supreme view. Regarding the clear light of the five stages, The later generations of Tibet, Say that the Prasangika Madhyamaka (应成中观, Consequentialist Middle Way) view, Is the only way. Furthermore, emptiness that has not been, Analyzed by Madhyamaka reasoning is superficial. Wherever it may be, through hearing and thinking, Try to thoroughly decide with reason. Otherwise, it does not go beyond, The view of Heshang (和尚, a Chinese Chan monk), Therefore, the arguments of Padmasambhava (莲花生), Have already been examined. For these, with an unbiased mind, Think about them as they are, The object of the view of the three, Zhi (止, Calm Abiding), Mahamudra (大手印, Great Seal), and Dzogchen (大圆满, Great Perfection), is definitely one. The sole clear light of one's own mind, From the beginning, is not stained by sudden, Impurities, this is how it is explained. This is in accordance with all the sutras and tantras. The wisdom that realizes it is, The view, in the sutras and tantras, Self-cognizant awareness and, The all-supreme are separately explained. Regarding the method of realization, the Sakya school, Made some analyses, And others are also researching. The original co-emergent wisdom, Is realized through Prajnaparamita (般若, Perfection of Wisdom) or, Which system of Secret Mantra? If it is neither, then it becomes the practice of a fool, Practicing Zhi (止, Calm Abiding), Mahamudra (大手印, Great Seal), and Dzogchen (大圆满, Great Perfection). If one takes the Prajnaparamita (般若, Perfection of Wisdom) approach, Then hearing, thinking, and reasoning are necessary prerequisites. If it is Secret Mantra, then empowerment and, Subsequent connection are necessary, said the guru. To this, the former replies, Through the good habitual tendencies of the past and, The blessing of the guru alone, Realizing co-emergent Mahamudra (大手印, Great Seal), Whether it accords with the scriptures or not, Is established by the measure of one's own experience. This is the supreme method of pith instructions. Others comment: Without prior analysis, Merely settling the mind on experience, That is dull Shamatha (奢摩他, Calm Abiding), It does not become an antidote to afflictions. To this, I reply, It is not so. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If so, then the luminosity of Heruka (Sanskrit: Śrī Cakrasaṃvara, the deity of bliss) and Guhyasamaja will also become the same, because there is no examination at that time. Therefore, the luminosity of one's own mind, this itself is great wisdom. If the realization of this increases, great ignorance will not remain. In Lamdre (Path and Fruit), it is said that the view is the object of the viewer, and the view that realizes it is explained in the philosophical systems. At this time, all masters of secret instructions agree that appearances are mind. If explained according to the scriptures, it does not surpass the view of the Cittamatra (Mind-Only) school. If explained according to the system of secret instructions, the luminous mind of the base stage is explained as illusory appearances, and 'clarity' is what is expressed. How things appear, is not there, that is called emptiness. The same applies to union. In short, in the state of self-emptiness without mixture, there is no term called union. Union arises from the Shentong (Other-Empty) school. The luminosity of the Five Stages also cannot be explained according to self-emptiness. Whatever is the vajra of mind, that is explained as the definitive meaning. Like that, from starting that, whatever merit is obtained, may it enable all sentient beings to become accustomed to self-aware self-illumination, grasp the delightful mansion of the accumulation of merit and wisdom, and hold high the victory banner that completely triumphs over all directions! This was written in the year of the Pig by the one with excellent intelligence, in response to the questions of the yogi Yeshe Sangpo of the hidden land. May there be auspiciousness! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
