I will explain the co-emergent (Lhen skyes). The nature of wisdom (Ye shes), Is there any contradiction in this? To determine (Gtan la beb pa) through reason (Rigs pa), To experience (Nyams su myong bya ba) through meditation (Sgom pa), These are their respective functions. In the 'Ornament of Clear Realization' (Mngon rtogs rin chen ljon shing), To determine freedom from extremes (Mtha' bral), To experience union (Zung 'jug), Separate the two stages of action. Then, why is intellectual analysis, Not meditation? Because understanding the determination of freedom from extremes, Is not for understanding the knowable (Rtogs bya), But for the knowable, To prevent the proliferation (Spros pa) of clinging (Mtsan 'dzin). Therefore, the method of understanding the knowable, Is sufficient in mantra (Sngags), But for the knowable, The reason for preventing the proliferation of clinging, Like the gradual entry of the tantric view, And the order of the three wheels ('Khor lo gsum), First, reason is explained, Then, union is explained. If the view of the knowable has been experienced before, To prevent confusion about it as self (Bdag) and person (Gang zag), Even if reason, Is explained later, there is no contradiction. For example, the Yogacara (Rnal 'byor spyod pa), After showing the experience, The Madhyamaka (Dbu ma) should be shown, As it is said in the tantra. Therefore, the reason of Madhyamaka, Is it necessary? The grasping and the grasped (Gzung 'dzin) spoken of in the tantra, The conceptual thought (Rtog pa), Only through the method of prevention, The conceptual thought that cannot be prevented, Does not exist. The appearance (Snang ba), mind (Sems), etc., which are spoken of as inseparable (Dbyer med) from samsara and nirvana ('Khor 'das), Although not the view of the Svatantrika (Rang gzhan gzhung), The three eliminate all clinging. If it does not exist in the face of reason, But exists in the nature of things (Dngos po), If someone asks, which should be mainly held? Then it is like this: Whatever becomes the object of verbal thought (Sgra rtog), Conventional (Kun rdzob) phenomena (Chos rnam), In the face of knowledge (Shes) and expression (Brdjod), It does not exist in the face of reason, This is the best proof of non-existence. Transcending the object of verbal thought, Great bliss (Bde chen) wisdom (Ye shes), in the face of reason, Although it does not exist, but in reality, It exists, this is supreme. Those who speak of no-self-nature (Ngobo nyid), When searching with reason, any dharma, Cannot be found, therefore all dharmas, Do not exist, they explain. Hearing, thinking (Thos bsam) and reason, although not more than Madhyamaka, But in mantra, Experience is more than Madhyamaka, It should be said. Then, for self-nature co-emergent, Is the true existence of ultimate truth (Don dam bden pa), The ways of speaking and arguing, Have become many, should be avoided. Self-nature co-emergent, through the Paramita (Phar phyin), Vehicle (Theg pa)'s reason, only roughly, As an object, that is conventional, Therefore, it is another name for ultimate, Of the mantra vehicle. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Through skillful means, the two wisdoms of example and meaning are manifested, the latter being the reality of the ultimate truth. However, the former, in its initial stage, has not yet escaped the arising and ceasing of conceptual thoughts clinging to names and forms. Therefore, it is not the reality of the ultimate truth, just like the four truths in the mundane world. Although all sentient beings are pervaded by the great innate wisdom, the self-awareness of experience is not present in ordinary worldly beings. If it were, then ordinary people would directly perceive the nature of reality. The wisdom of example, in the nature of reality, establishes the part that is free from conceptual thought and not inverted, but that is not directly perceived. The pleasure of the union of the two ordinary faculties, although it cannot be explained as the wisdom of example, those scriptures are related to it as its proof. The pleasure of the union of the two ordinary faculties is merely a bodily sensation, therefore it is accompanied by conceptual thought, because it is bound by attachment. The wisdom of example arising from the sequence of self-blessing, if it immediately mixes with the conceptual thought of direct attachment, not exceeding the pleasure of bodily sensation, then it cannot be the ultimate truth. If it is free from conceptual thought, similar to uncontaminated bliss, then it is not a bodily sensation, and the scriptures cannot serve as its proof. The direct realization of the ultimate truth is impossible for non-Aryas. Only an Arya can recognize that this is the reality of the ultimate truth. Merely being able to represent it through example, when it may also exist in ordinary worldly beings, know that as the wisdom of example, which mantra practitioners will establish as a term. Therefore, from the bondage of bodily actions, when signs such as 'Du' arise, because the one who realizes it is an ordinary person, it is not the reality of the ultimate truth. Those who speak of no-self-nature, if they can recognize that this is the reality of the ultimate truth, what more needs to be said? They do not even acknowledge the existence of the fully enlightened Buddha. Great wisdom is the object to be realized by the Prajnaparamita and all the tantras, saying this means that in the Prajnaparamita, wisdom is shown as the object to be realized by the view. Moreover, the two approaches of the Mahayana are said to be the same object to be realized. That is also because it is not the definitive meaning of the Third Turning of the Wheel, so do not echo others by saying that the non-dual wisdom is the reality of the ultimate truth, which is the view of the Mind-Only school. The deities and mantras of the generation stage, although they are accomplished from this wisdom, because the accomplishment is conceptual thought itself, they cannot be established as the reality of the ultimate truth. The deities and mantras of the generation stage are wisdom itself. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
