In the distant past, you bore the sacred Dharma of Manjushri Kumara, Skillfully guiding beings with the chariot of wisdom, I pray that you deliver us from the ocean of samsara. You have mastered the glory of the four wheels, perfectly inheriting the power of Shakyamuni, Through hearing, contemplation, and meditation, you hold the treasury of the minds of the Buddhas of the three times, I pray that you protect it. You possess pure conduct, uphold the Vinaya of the Abiding Ones, You are a great Bodhisattva whose activities are spontaneously accomplished, the supreme Vajradhara who holds the secret treasures, I pray that you become the treasure of the ocean of Dharma. With a vast and fierce army of reasoning, you have defeated the hosts of heretical enemies, You have mastered the four kinds of unobstructed eloquence, I pray that you protect the kingdom of Shakyamuni. Riding on the steed of perfect accumulation of the two merits, adorned with the mandala of vast scriptural knowledge, The light of eloquent teachings emanates from your mouth, I pray that you become the protector of all beings. With your vast wisdom, on the unobstructed path of the three times of appearance and emptiness, You rejoice in the dance of bliss and emptiness, seeing all appearances as the form of the deity, I pray that you watch over us. With immaculate empowerment, pure tantric explanations, and complete pith instructions, You clearly reveal the hidden meanings, I pray to you, the incomparable and kind Root Guru. I pray that in all my lives, you will watch over me with your compassionate eyes of wisdom, And that at the very first moment of attaining perfect enlightenment, you will satisfy me with the nectar of the sacred Dharma. Even temporarily, I offer my body and possessions to you without reservation, I pray that you will dry up the ocean of samsara with maturing empowerments and liberating stages. In this life, I have obtained the excellent boat of leisure and endowment, may I cross the vast ocean of learning and contemplation, And with the wisdom that distinguishes Dharma from non-Dharma, may I be satisfied with the nectar born of meditation. May this virtue enable all beings, To be liberated from the depths of the ocean of samsara, to attain the Bhagavan who has reached the ultimate end of the two benefits, and to attain the state of Buddhahood. In life after life, wherever you may be, in whatever pure land, until I attain enlightenment, May you continuously guide me without obstruction, and may I accomplish everything according to your wishes with a pure heart. Auspicious! 'The Ornament of the Wise' Named 'The Ornament of the Wise,' it tells of the realization fragments of Gewa Gyaltsen, the Lord of Reasoning, and pays homage. Homage to the venerable treasure of wisdom! You are the protector of the fortunate beings, the Lord of Dharma. Your lotus feet are the crest jewel of beings, Inseparably touching, with love and care. May you quickly grant the supreme path of correct reasoning! The precious source of all goodness, The wonderful banner of good deeds waves high, Victorious in all directions, adorned by the king of freedom. Granting auspiciousness in all times and places, I prostrate to you! With the force of renunciation, soaring in the sky of the Victor's teachings, The mandala of stainless three trainings is completely perfect, Holding the conduct of a perfect ascetic, possessing a hundred lights, Adorned with the mark of celibacy, I prostrate to you! Skillfully guided by the chariot of four correct reasonings, The net of radiant rays of eloquent speech, Causes the lotus ears of embodied beings, To fully bloom with a hundred petals of the mind, I prostrate to you! With the vast and fierce army of reasoning, Having defeated the hosts of wrong views, Governing the four great continents of scriptures, I respectfully prostrate to the wheel of the sacred Dharma! Among countless sons of the Buddhas, you are the treasure of wisdom, In the sacred land of India, you are the master of commentaries, In this snowy land of Tibet, you are the lord of reasoning, I respectfully prostrate to you, holding the white umbrella of fame! Emanating from the great ocean of vast learning, Thousands of rivers explaining the meaning of clear scriptures, Unmixed with the stain of unsaid repetitions, Bestowing on the path of reasoning, I prostrate to you! The foundation of pure white compassion, the vast expanse, Creates all the perfections of excellent intention, Untiring in bearing the burden of limitless benefit and happiness, I prostrate to you, adorned with the garment of the ocean of the sons of the Buddhas! From the ocean of your qualities, O Protector, Having taken a small portion with the hands of faith, And offered it to the necks of some wise ones, With the vast and stainless merit obtained, May I never be separated for even a moment from the virtuous friend who teaches the supreme vehicle, And all the Dharma of the Buddhas of the three times, And the excellent body adorned with leisure and endowments!
