Possessing the mind of the dual union Vajradhara, Majestically seated upon the fearless lion throne, With a pure intention solely for the benefit of others, I pray to you, the lord of compassion. With the activity of bringing joy to all beings, And with the compassion of constantly engaging in the Dharma, Protecting the assemblies of fortunate disciples, I pray to that great Bodhisattva. Mangalam! A Praise to the Incarnation of Loving-Kindness Swasti prajā bhyāḥ Auspiciousness! May all beings be auspicious! The incarnate body brings joy to all beings, The speech spontaneously accomplishes auspiciousness and virtue, The excellent name triumphs in all directions, I pray to the one worthy of all praise. With the excellent nature of the mind of enlightenment, Leading many beings higher and higher, With the compassion of the unfailing loving mother, certainly accomplishing, I pray to the supreme lord of activity. The form that immediately captivates the mind, The speech that soothes upon hearing, Certainly bestowing benefit and happiness upon reliance, I pray to the lord of compassion himself. Through the power of past habits and long cultivation, Not transgressing the boundaries of the three vows, Gaining confidence in the profound and vast Dharma, I pray to the one who has become the master of the teachings. Whatever actions of body, speech, and mind are performed, Solely for the benefit of the Buddha's teachings and sentient beings, Especially considering and certainly striving, I pray to the son of the great loving one. The unchanging, great bliss, extremely profound mind, The form representing the lord of all lineages, With the sound of the speech transforming the dual union wheel, I pray to the one who spontaneously accomplishes greatness. With hundreds of thousands of streams of whispered instructions, Filling the vast and boundless depths of the mind, Striving to dispel the decline of fortunate beings, I respectfully pray to the ocean of Dharma. Through the virtuous merit of praying in this way, May you be blessed by your compassion, May all of them never be separated from virtuous friends, And may they practice the profound and vast Dharma. May all the sins of all motherly beings, And all sufferings be taken as purification, And by dedicating happiness and virtue to others, May they be liberated from the extremes of existence and peace. May there be no obstacles from internal and external causes when entering! This verse of supplication to the Loving Great One (བྱམས་ཆེན་སྐུ་སྐྱེ་, Maitreya incarnation) was made at the request of Gnyerchen Ralo Dorje (གཉེར་ཆེན་རྭ་ལོ་རྡོ་རྗེ), and composed by Chokden Lekpai Lo (མཆོག་ལྡན་ལེགས་པའི་བློ). Praise to Khenchen Lek Shepa (མཁན་ཆེན་ལེགས་ཤེས་པ): Namo Gurave! With the wisdom of glorious, well-trained learning, Having crossed to the other shore of the ocean of Sutra and Tantra, Having generated the mind for the sake of countless beings, I prostrate to the compassionate son of the Victorious Ones! Regarding the well-spoken Sutra and Vinaya, With the three wisdoms of properly engaging, Having seen the essence of the teachings as they are, I prostrate to the guide of the many! Having listened extensively and practicing properly, The three disciplines of never being distracted, Without transgressing beyond the established boundaries, I prostrate to the virtuous friend who protects! With the good nature of the mind of Bodhicitta, Whatever actions of body, speech, and mind are performed, May they be the cause of benefit and happiness for limitless beings, I prostrate to the great and holy being who dedicates! The parts of well-spoken and poorly-spoken, With the wisdom to separately distinguish without mixing, Skilled in advising with reason and taking to heart, I prostrate to the one who shines as the glory of the teachings! The path of definitive goodness, unparalleled, The great wisdom of bliss-emptiness self-awareness, And the wisdom of seeing whatever arises as the form of a deity, I prostrate to the one who accomplishes great deeds spontaneously! Having ripened one's own being with the path of goodness, Having liberated the being of others with great wisdom, Having entered the fearless path with learned, disciplined, and excellent qualities, I prostrate to the feet of the one with good activities! Thus, prostrating with a respectful mind, And rejoicing in whatever good deeds are done, May these beings, who have been mothers and are equal to space, Enter into the conduct of the sons of the Victorious Ones!
