O, with the pure, great bliss of speech, possessing the mind of the Union Vajradhara, I pray to you to be the master of all lineages. Having perfected all the qualities of learning and practice, not gazing at the distracting illusory dance, diligently practicing in solitude, I pray to you to be the master of scripture and realization. Whatever you do, whether with form or formless yoga, whatever temporary or long-term activities you engage in, dedicating all of it to the benefit of limitless beings, I pray to you to be the master of activity. Knowing virtuous friends as actual Buddhas, seeing their words as infallible Dharma, regarding all suffering beings as your own mothers, I pray to you to be the master of practice. Through the blessings of praying in this way, may I realize impure appearances as emptiness, may I perfect the two accumulations in the state of experience, and may pure appearances arise naturally, grant your blessings. May the cause lineage arise in the state of clear emptiness, may the method lineage unite the two stages, and may the result, bliss and emptiness, be spontaneously accomplished, grant your blessings for the Union Complete Enjoyment Body. May the three appearances ripen the other's lineage through Dharma, may the three lineages liberate one's own lineage through the path, may the view of innate co-emergence be realized, and may the bliss and emptiness tenets be refined, grant your blessings. I pray to Ldan Chos kyi rgya mtsho (Ocean of Dharma)! Your body is filled with many Dharmas, Your speech is always adorned with hundreds of excellent explanations, Your mindstream is filled with love and compassion, I pray to the one worthy of all praise! By praising in this way, may all beings to be tamed, including myself, Never be stained by the impurities of misconduct, And by maturing and liberating through empowerment and instruction, May we attain the state of glorious Vidyadhara! This was written at the urging of Tsondu Rinchen (brtson 'grus rin chen), the holder of the Vinaya, as a sequence to be recited. Through the power of creating great collections of virtue in the past, Holding the lineage of an immaculate and noble family, Possessing the excellent nature of love and compassion, I prostrate to the one born as the glory of beings! Relying on the feet of qualified spiritual friends, Having perfectly received the essence of the Buddha's teachings, the three vows, Having thoroughly studied all the scriptures, reasoning, and instructions, I prostrate to the one pervaded by the fame of being learned! Through the practice of uniting the two stages, Having attained the state of glorious Vidyadhara, Commanding Vajra Dharma Protectors like servants, I prostrate to the one who has become the Lama of all! With whatever meaning of extensive listening is appropriate, Having perfectly understood, to many intelligent ones, Through the activity of extensively and excellently explaining for a long time, I prostrate to the one who kindles the lamp of the teachings! With the merit of having the fortune of past practice, Having accomplished the command of Jetsun Khyenpai Ter (rje btsun mkhyen pa'i gter), Enthroned as the master of all Dharma without exception, I prostrate to the one known as the Second Manjushri! Having perfected the three activities of a scholar, Having subdued the hosts of demons with the strength of power, With the yoga of striving for single-pointed accomplishment, I prostrate to you who reside in the state of accomplishment! By the collection of virtue from praying in this way, May the obstacles to practicing the Dharma be cleared away, And by bestowing all supreme and common siddhis, May the activities of listening, contemplation, and meditation be perfected!
