Your heart is filled with the merits born from the three jewels of training (discipline, concentration, and wisdom). I pray to the compassionate spiritual friend. Your bodily conduct is solely for the benefit of sentient beings, your speech is solely for the sacred Dharma, and your mind's activity is none other than Bodhicitta and the two benefits (self and others). I pray to you, who never deviates from these. In past kalpas, you generated Bodhicitta and the two benefits. In this life, you are proficient in the five sciences (grammar, crafts, medicine, logic, and inner knowledge). For Bodhicitta and the yoga of the two stages, you make practice the essence. I pray to you. To those with pure perception, you manifest the form of Avalokiteśvara; to those of middling capacity, you proclaim the teachings of a spiritual friend; even to ordinary people, you show great compassion. I pray to Brag dkar ba. Through the blessings of praying in this way, may all beings in the six realms recognize the altruistic mind of parents, and the practice of exchanging self and others, may we never be separated. May we never associate with unkind friends, may we always be cared for by kind friends, and may the feast of Bodhicitta and the two siddhis (worldly and ultimate) never cease, may there be auspiciousness! Before the actual Three Jewels, Surely seeing, at the peak of the banner of faith, To you, the noble one who makes offerings, I prostrate! Whatever merit is accumulated by this supplication, May the assembly of disciples who seek your guidance, Abandoning evil companions and sinful friends, Be embraced by the great loving virtuous friend! The writer of this is the virtuous friend Kunga Tashi. Praise to Dharma Lord Kunga Gyaltsen [Praise to Dharma Lord Kunga Gyaltsen] Svasti! Having attained the rank of a scholar by knowing all Dharmas, Delighting in benefiting others, rich in the wealth of goodness, Holding the excellent house of discipline, holding the victory banner of learning, I pray to the glory of the wise, virtuous, and excellent one! Seeing without error the definitive meaning of all Dharma wheels, The continuum is rich with the glory of the four joys, The excellent house of intention, possessing the conduct of a Bodhisattva, I pray to become the master of auspiciousness! Having completely mastered all places of scripture and reasoning, All the sources of knowledge that delight the world, Without being confused about anything, surpassing all sides, I pray to become the master of wonder! By the generation stage, eliminating impure appearances, By the view free from elaboration, cutting off all aggregates of elaboration, By the path of enlightenment, the two great accumulations of bliss, I pray to become the master of truly realizing them! The true spiritual friend who shows the path of the three vehicles, How to rely on them, according to the tenets of each tradition, Knowing well and practicing accordingly, I pray to become the master of attaining accomplishments! Thus, praising only a fraction of your good deeds, By this pure virtue of rejoicing, May I overcome the lower realms and the four maras, And attain the state of a Dharma king!
